　　課前準備

　　教師：準備游戲時所用的圖片(食物、蔬菜、動物)。

　　學生：準備表演時所需道具(服裝、假發(fā))。

　　Step One :Present the sentence patterns.

　　1. Play a game “How many words do you know?”(利用小游戲調

　　動學生的積極性，同時通過對冠軍的介紹引出本課。

　　Teacher: After the study of the first three starters, I think

　　most of the students must have known a lot of words. How many

　　words do you know? Let’s play a game to see who know? Let’s play a game to see who knows the most.

　　(Divide all the students into several groups and show a picture(圖片略) to them with the puter. Every group can choose two students to join. They are asked to e to the blackboard and write down the words in 30 seconds.)

　　(Group 2 is the pion group. They can write 11 words.)

　　2. Introduce the pion group to the class.(引課方式貼近

　　Teacher: Congratulations, now Group 2 is the pion. But I don’t r names. Would you like to introduce yourselves to us?

　　S1& S2:Yes.

　　S1:Hello.My name is Li Lei. Nice to meet you.

　　Ss: Hello, Li Lei. Nice to meet you ,too.

　　Ss: Hello! What’s your name?

　　S2:I’m Sun Ping. How do you do?

　　Ss: How do you do ?

　　Step Two: Drills.

　　1. Make introductions.(通過句型的操練使學生更加熟練掌握所學的句式。

　　Teacher: The new term begins. Everyone will meet many new ates. Do you want to make friends with them? If your answer is “yes”, please introduce yourself in your group.

　　Example:

　　Sa: Hello! I’m Li Lei. What’s your name?

　　2. Listen and number the conversations.

　　Teacher: Today I have good news for you. Three new students will e to our class. They are from other countries. Do you want to know them? Let’s listen to the recording of 1b in Section A.

　　Step Three: Make friends.

　　1. Make new friends.(用談話的方式完成任務，生動活潑，同時更

　　Teacher: Now everyone has some new friends. Do you want others to know them? Do you want more friends? Let’s introduce our new friends to others, OK?

　　Example:

　　Sa: This is my new friend. His name is Sun Nan.

　　Sc: Nice to meet you, too. Look! This is my new friend. Her name is He Lu.

　　(Students can stand up and introduce their friends to others freely. They can greet each other warmly. Everyone in the class can have more friends. They can also know something else about them.)

　　Teacher: Just now I said three new students from other countries would e to our class. Now, look! They are here. Let’s give them a warm wele.

　　結合多媒體，利用圖片、實物等幫助學生記憶相關物品的詞匯;設置情境，幫助學生通過聽說練習學會談論物品的位置。

　　三、教學目標：

　　(一)知識目標

　　掌握本課生詞，學習談論物品的位置Where is/are…?It’s/They’re…。

　　(二)能力目標

　　讓學生學會如何聽和談論物品的位置。

　　(三)情感目標

　　1. 培養(yǎng)學生良好的合作意識，鼓勵學生大膽表達自己的想法和意愿。

　　2. 通過談論物品的位置，培養(yǎng)學生養(yǎng)成良好的生活習慣。

　　四、教材分析：

　　Period 1是Unit4的第一課，讓學生提通過活動，學習如何表達物品的位置，并能就物品位置進行提問。

　　Step 1.Organization Greetings

　　Step 2.Revision

　　1. Use a pen to ask and answer between the teacher and the students, and review the key sentences in Unit3.

　　2. Use a picture of a bag to ask students to write a lost notice and a found notice, and review the lost and found notices, then lead to the new words with the picture(1a:P19).

　　Hold up the picture and point to the objects : table, bed , bookcase, sofa, chair, schoolbag , book, key.

　　T: What’s this in English?

　　S: It’s a table/bed/...

　　Encourage or help students to read the words correctly .Write them down on the blackboard.

　　3. Quick reaction .Let the students look at the teaching picture in 1a, finish 1a, then check students’ answers.

　　Step3. Lead in

　　Show my English book and my two pens, then put them on my desk. Ask students to answer the questions: “Where is my English book?” and “Where are my pens?”.

　　Try to ask more students similar questions：Where is your pencil?...

　　Step3.Practice

　　Ask the students to look at some pictures and things in the classroom and practice talking about where things are.

　　For example:-where is my clock?

　　-It’s on the table.

　　Ask students to work in pairs and make conversations.

　　Step 4.Talking about the picture(1a:P19)

　　1. Ask the students to practice 1c in pairs.

　　2. Let the students work in pairs and talk about where the things in the picture are on Page19 .

　　Step 5 Listening

　　Have students to listen to the conversations and number the things.

　　Check the answers . Then ask students to read the conversations after the recording.

　　Step 6 Practice

　　Ask students to describe their bedrooms.

　　For example: My cat is on the chair. My English book is on the sofa .…

　　Step7 Summary

　　評價Unit 4 ,Period 1的教學效果，可以通過以下幾點：

　　1.學生是否能掌握有關物品和方位的詞匯。

　　學生是否能學會運用英語談論物品的位置。

　　十一、教學反思

　　1.通過本節(jié)課的學習，我深刻地體味到，初中中學英語課堂教學改革勢在必行，尤其是我們農村中學。

　　以前的教學過多的注重詞匯、語法等語言知識的講授，以教師教，學生學為主要模式，只要努力就能學好。

　　但是，許多學生聽說特別差。

　　新課改重在培養(yǎng)學生濃厚的興趣，教材設計靈活，貼近生活，重實用，能讓學生感受到英語的實用性和趣味性。

　　充分發(fā)揮學生的主體作用，使他們積極主動地參與教學活動之中。

　　2.我校地處農村，在英語學習方面沒有一個好的'語言氛圍。

　　每年接手新生，學生的英語基礎薄弱，水平參差不齊，必須從零開始，通過一段時間的磨合，終于能趕上節(jié)奏。

　　根據《課標》要求，結合教材重難點，通過講授與學生生活密切相關的英語知識點，訓練聽說讀寫能力，讓學生的學習由表及里、由淺入深，循序漸進，讓學生有成就感，提高學習的積極性、主動性。

　　最終使學生從“學會”轉向“會學”“會說”。

　　同時，盡可能多的體現(xiàn)學生學習的自主性和參與性，充分利用有限的教學資源，如多媒體、圖畫、實物等拓寬學生知識面，增強注意力，注意培養(yǎng)學生學習英語的興趣，提高教學效果。

　　再次，增強學生學習英語課的熱情和自信心。

　　在教學中多關心性格內向、膽小，在學習時缺乏自信心，不敢回答問題的學生，常體貼，勤鼓勵他們。

　　課堂上應糾正學生語言錯誤盡可能委婉一些，防止學生自尊心、自信心受到傷害，挫傷他學習外語的積極性。

　　對學生要有信心，多鼓勵，多創(chuàng)建問題情境，盡最大可能促進學生能力發(fā)展。
