　　人們常說：學(xué)習(xí)是痛苦的歷程，不過我不明白，為什么受傷的總是我。

　　老媽學(xué)英語的熱情日益高漲，因而我的苦難就日益加深，每當(dāng)老媽問我英文的.時(shí)候，一般我都會(huì)先吃三片阿司匹林，纏好繃帶，再運(yùn)上龜背神功至第十二重。

　　這不，她老人家又來問我了——

　　老媽：“這個(gè)‘I＇m very annoyed，don＇t trouble me.’是什么意思？”

　　我說：“啊……這個(gè)……我很煩，別煩我……”

　　老媽：“找打，跟你媽這么說話！”(于是被扁)

　　老媽又問：“‘I hear nothing，repeat.’是什么意思�。俊�

　　我說：“我沒聽清，再說一次。”

　　老媽又說了一遍：“‘I hear nothing，repeat.’”

　　我說：“我沒聽清，再說一次！”(結(jié)果再次被扁)

　　老媽再問：“‘What do you say？’又怎么解釋呢？”

　　我說：“你說什么？”(又被扁)

　　我說：“你最好問別人。”

　　老媽：“你是我兒子，我問別人干嗎，又找打……”

　　我起身要逃，被老媽抓了回來，又被扁！

　　老媽：“敢耍你老媽，哼哼！我再問你，‘Use your head，then think it over.’又是什么意思�。俊�

　　我說：“動(dòng)動(dòng)腦子，再仔細(xì)想想……”

　　老媽：“好小子，還敢耍我！”(接著又要?jiǎng)邮?

　　我連忙說：“不對(duì)，不對(duì)，是‘世上只有媽媽好’的意思！”

　　老媽：“嗯！這還差不多，一會(huì)兒我給你做好吃的，明天再問你�！�

　　第二天，我正在看碟，老媽捧了本書進(jìn)來。

　　老媽：“這個(gè)‘I don＇t know.’是什么意思？”

　　我說：“我不知道。”

　　老媽：“送你上大學(xué)上了幾年，你怎么什么都不知道！”

　　我說：不是！就是“我不知道”嗎！

　　老媽：“還嘴硬……”(拳腳相加，一頓暴揍)

　　過了一會(huì)兒。

　　老媽：“這個(gè)‘I know.’是什么意思？這回你總該知道吧！”

　　我說：是“我知道�！�

　　老媽：“知道就快說！”

　　我說：就是“我知道�！�

　　老媽：“找茬呀你？剛才收拾你收拾得輕了是不？”

　　我說：就是“我知道”呀！

　　老媽：“知道你還不說！不懂不要裝懂！”(又一頓暴揍)

　　老媽揍累了，喘氣中……

　　老媽：“你給我小心點(diǎn)，花那么多錢送你上大學(xué)，搞的現(xiàn)在什么都不會(huì)，懂一丁點(diǎn)英語還跟老娘擺譜，再問你最后一個(gè)，你給我好好解釋一下，說不出來我再收拾你。給我翻譯一下‘I know but I don’t want to tell you.’是什么意思？”

　　我暈倒，拿起枕頭往頭上暴砸三十幾下，用頭撞墻四十多下，雙手輪番抽自己嘴巴五十多下，用腿踢桌子角六十多下，血肉模糊之時(shí)，我問老媽：“意思是‘我知道，但我不想告訴你！’這下你滿意吧！”

　　閱覽室里的一次教訓(xùn) A lesson in the reading room

　　The seats in our school reading-room are not enough for all the students. Many people get there very early to "seize" a seat every day. So do I. One day a "special" thing happened to me. And I learned a lesson that I shall never forget.

　　It happened on a Wednesday morning last January, just before our final examation. I got to the reading-room very early to occupy a seat. I put a book on the desk and then went to have breakfast. But when I hurried back into the reading-room, I found someone was sitting on the seat which I had occupied in advance. I ran to him immediatly and shouted at him angrily, "Go away. It's my seat." Everyone raised their eyes and stared at me unfriendly. My face turned red and I felt ashamed of myself. I took my book and fled helter-skelter before so many eyes.

　　I dared not go to the reading-room for several days. I learned a lesson in the reading-room. Since then I have been keeping the lesson in mind: To be polite to everyone.

　　我們學(xué)校閱覽室里的座位不多。每天很多人都很早就去“搶”座，我也是如此。一天，我經(jīng)歷了一件特殊的事，并從中學(xué)到了令我終生難忘的教訓(xùn)。

　　這件事發(fā)生在去年一月份一個(gè)星期三的早晨，就在期末考試之前。我很早就到閱覽室占了一個(gè)座位，然后去吃早飯。但當(dāng)我匆忙返回到閱覽室時(shí)，卻發(fā)現(xiàn)一個(gè)人正坐在我占的座位上。我立即跑過去，對(duì)他生氣地嚷道：“走開，這是我的座位。”閱覽室里所有的人都抬起頭來，異樣地看著我。我的臉一下子變紅了，我為自己的'行為感到慚愧。在眾目睽睽之下，我拿起書狼狽地跑了出去。

　　一連好幾天，我都不敢去閱覽室。我在閱覽室里得到了一個(gè)教訓(xùn)。從那以后，我一直銘記著這個(gè)教訓(xùn)：禮貌地對(duì)待每個(gè)人。

　　It took place on a Monday morning in October. After occupying a seat in the reading-room, I went to fetch a bottle of boiled water. When I returned to the reading-room, I found that a girl student was sitting on my seat. Immediately I ran to her and shouted at her angrily, "Why have you taken my seat? Go away.!" Everybody in the reading-room looked up from their books at me unfriendly. At once I brushed with shame. I rushed out of the reading-room with my book. I can never forget those "eyes".

　　This is the lesson I've learned in the reading-room: I shall respect other people.

　　我們學(xué)校閱覽室里的座位不是很多。為了“搶”座位，我每天早晨很早就去閱覽室。正是因?yàn)檫@個(gè)，我經(jīng)歷了一件很特殊的事。我在閱覽室里學(xué)到一個(gè)終生難忘的教訓(xùn)。

　　這件事發(fā)生在十月的一個(gè)星期一的早晨。占了一個(gè)座位后，我就去打瓶開水，回來時(shí)卻發(fā)現(xiàn)一位女生正坐在我的位置上。我立即跑了過去，生氣地嚷道：“為什么坐我的座位?讓開!”閱覽室里所有的人都抬起頭，異樣地看著我。我很羞愧，臉一下子就紅了。我拿起書，沖出了閱覽室。我永遠(yuǎn)都不會(huì)忘記那些眼睛。
