　　Our school was set up in 1958. It is the center of our city. There are about 180 teachers and more than two thousand students in it. We have two four-storeyed classroom buildings, a library and a lab building. Besides, there is a big sports ground and a new swimming pool. The campus is very beautiful. It is covered with green trees and beautiful flowers. It looks like a garden. I think it is a nice place for us to study in.

　　開始我對這個班一點都不感興趣，一個原因是我不喜歡學(xué)英語，另一個原因是上這個課就占用了我星期天玩的時間。所以，每次上課我都是嘴噘臉掉，極不情愿地被媽媽拽去�？墒亲罱覍τ⒄Z越來越感興趣了，我發(fā)現(xiàn)上階梯英語課是件快樂的事情。每次上課都是老師Ruhy帶著我們做游戲，只不過全部說英語，不能說中文。有一次我們學(xué)到husband 與wife這兩個單詞時，Ruhy 扮演wife，她選了我們小朋友里最高的男孩子當(dāng)husband，可是還是比Ruhy低很多。然后，Ruhy對她的husband說：“You are very low !”斗得我們小朋友都哈哈大笑。我們在課堂上不僅玩分角色讀課文，還玩擊鼓傳球，貓捉老鼠……總之，在這里學(xué)英語變成了做游戲，我對英語也從討厭變成了喜歡。

　　自從我喜歡上英語以后，每次都能受到Ruhy的.表揚，媽媽也夸我進(jìn)步很大。我發(fā)現(xiàn)學(xué)英語并不難，只要勇敢、開口、大聲念就會學(xué)好的。

For another, some businessmen take advantage of the weeklong holidays and raise the priced of commodities and services.

　　Personally, I believe that it is necessary for people to have long vacations, but there is no need for them to have the vacations during the same period of time. Instead, they should be allowed the freedom to arrange their own vacations. Only in this way can they really relax and refresh themselves for a new round of work.
