　　English is always my favorite subject and I am good at English. I would like to share 4good studying habits with you.

　　First,remember 20 new words, and never give up. Second, go over grammar points I havelearnt in English class regularly. Third, read an English article in ChinaDaily every day. Fourth, write an English composition every week and askteacher to revise that for me to improve the writing level.

　　Spring festival is the most important festival for Chinese people. Many people willprepare many things for the spring festival. Now this is my plan for the springfestival. 　　Nowadays we see supermodels on almost every magazine cover and one might wonder what life will be like being one of them. Such assumption may be painful for most of the magazine readers who are already over the age when they can get taller. In response to the ”Getting taller trend”, some goes so far as to pay doctors to cut their legs open and let surgeries do the job to get just two centimeters’ higher.

　　In spite of all these that are happening, some of my taller friends desire to give up this superiority for they just don’t want to be the center of the crowd, saying that they would kill to be a 4 feet child. Girls, maybe you can’t remember the time when you were younger and you need to jump really hard to catch a glimpse of up-the-table world? But being taller, even the upper world of the refrigerator top is no longer a myth and your mom and dad can’t hide your snacks up there any more! As time goes on, you can easily see on the table the beautiful lavenders or lilies stretching themselves in their own fragrant smell, the shining toaster popping out warm tasty toast, or the little drops of water glittering under bright sunshine after your mom wipes the table. Don’t you just love to see every phase of the moon even when they are not that high up in the sky?

　　Well, I do. Being a 5 ft 10 myself, I am also taking the advantage of buying a larger outfit at a same price. Also, I get a cleaner view of the blackboard even when sitting far away from it. I run faster, jump higher and can think positively. I am proud to say that I possess the ability to see the upside of almost everything. I guess it is because I am closer to the clear blue sky above our heads.

　　爸爸先讓我把今天的內(nèi)容讀一遍，我想，太簡單了，“嘰里呱啦”一讀，等著爸爸來“驗收”，沒想到爸爸來了之后，卻讓我把第一單元的`單詞聽寫一遍，我打開書看了一眼，也不過如此嘛！以前我也聽寫過的，并不難，可爸爸卻讓跟磁帶寫，磁帶說的那么快，讀都跟不上，何況寫，我對爸爸說“你說漢語意思我來寫英語單詞。”爸爸說：“那就是‘中國式英語’，有的人只知道單詞的意思，不會讀、不會聽，那還學什么？磁帶要是太快了，你就聽三遍，聽不清，好不容易聽清了，卻又忘記怎么寫了，到最后勉強寫了十幾個單詞，交給爸爸，心想，該行了吧，但爸爸上我抄一遍，抄的時候，爸爸又開始糾正我寫作姿勢呀、書寫規(guī)范呀，連我都想罵我一句，我怎么總改不掉錯誤？

　　我一直自認為自已的教書能力還是可以的，看到外婆那求學的心，實在少有，就爽快地收她為徒了。

　　我把草稿本拿出來放在桌子上，讓外婆坐在桌邊。我在本子上寫了字母A的大小寫后，讓外婆拿著鉛筆也照著寫。外婆目不轉(zhuǎn)睛地盯著我寫字母的筆順，眼珠隨著我的筆尖轉(zhuǎn)動。

　　我呢，邊寫邊教她記的`方法，比如：寫J時想到雨傘桿，a的小尾巴不要太長……教發(fā)音時，我讓外婆看著我的嘴巴，看著我的嘴形。外婆認真地看，我只教了幾遍，她就發(fā)得很好，令我驚嘆。然后我給她一個單詞本，教她字母在五線格里的位置，外婆一筆一畫認真地學寫。

　　在我這個“名師”的悉心指導下，外婆的進步可謂一日千里了，讀寫都過關了。不是我教得好，而是外婆有那可貴的求學之心�。�

　　“哼！氣死我了……”爸爸一回來就氣呼呼地大喊，準確地說是人還沒到，聲音先到了。

　　爸爸是一名出租車司機。原來，爸爸載客過程中遇到了一個外國友人，他“嘰里咕�！钡卣f了一大串英語，爸爸卻一句也沒聽懂。外國友人只好搖搖頭，伸手去攔別的出租車。爸爸白白丟了一單生意，感到非常懊惱。

　　“閨女，你教我些青島景點的英文單詞行不？我要學英語！”我聽后，毫不猶豫地答應了�？墒菦]過幾天，我就感到厭煩了——爸爸很笨，教他的單詞不是記不住，就是記錯了。例如，“Laoshan Mountain”（嶗山）這個詞組吧，“Laoshan”他記得牢牢的，但死活記不住“Mountain”怎么發(fā)音。記不住也就算了，他還不服氣：“這個不用教，外國友人說嶗山我肯定能聽懂，你教我點有用的！”

　　“Qingdao Beer Museum”（青島啤酒博物館），我脫口說出了一連串單詞。爸爸呢，撓了撓頭，照貓畫虎復述了一遍，差點把我笑趴下！爸爸說成了“青島比爾貓”！這“比爾貓”是從哪里蹦出來的呢？我真佩服爸爸的聽力和創(chuàng)造力。

　　沒辦法，我只好絞盡腦汁，創(chuàng)新我的教學方法。

　　“你看，例如，‘Zhongshan Park’（中山公園），公園里有老虎、獅子等讓人害怕的動物，所以‘park’開頭就是發(fā)‘怕’的.音，一害怕，不小心磕著了，所以就是‘怕磕’�！�

　　“早這么教，我不是早就會了嘛！”爸爸一拍大腿，興奮地站了起來。我接著編：“像‘beach’（沙灘），就想成你在沙灘上用鼻子吃飯，發(fā)音就是‘beach’�！辈坏揭环昼姡职志洼p輕松松記住了“park”和“beach”兩個單詞。

　　我找到了竅門，教起爸爸來輕松了許多。我又幫爸爸將常用的單詞在手機上錄了音，讓他有空就聽一聽。終于，幾天后，爸爸滿臉笑容的回家了，他告訴我們，今天他又遇到了一個外國友人，他說的英語爸爸大多沒聽懂，只聽出來了“Landing Stage”，就知道要去棧橋。爸爸立刻說：“OK，OK（好的）！”那外國友人下車后還向爸爸豎起了大拇指，爸爸心里自然是美滋滋的。

　　就這樣，在我的幫助下，爸爸會的單詞越來越多。暑假里，他經(jīng)常接送外國友人，有一次還拿回了美金呢，說是外國友人給他的小費�？窗职智榫w高漲，我又給爸爸做了套“青島景點英文詞匯卡”來幫助他背記，讓他的英語更上一層樓。

　　經(jīng)過不斷地練習，爸爸漸漸地能和外國友人對話了。當然，全家人都說是我的功勞，我的心里美極了。
