放暑假時(shí)，媽媽自告奮勇地當(dāng)起了我的英語(yǔ)老師。她給我買(mǎi)了一臺(tái)學(xué)習(xí)機(jī)和學(xué)英語(yǔ)的光碟，我們每天都抽出大約一小時(shí)的時(shí)間來(lái)學(xué)習(xí)英語(yǔ)。媽媽告訴我，學(xué)習(xí)英語(yǔ)交不難，只要掌握了方法，就會(huì)覺(jué)得很有趣。通過(guò)學(xué)習(xí)，我覺(jué)得媽媽說(shuō)的很有道理，比如卷筆刀這個(gè)單詞，英語(yǔ)是sharpener，共有9個(gè)字母組成，死記硬背是肯定不行的，即使背掉了過(guò)幾天也會(huì)忘掉，如果你知道哪個(gè)字母或哪幾個(gè)字母發(fā)什么音，就一定不會(huì)忘掉了。掌握了方法，一個(gè)單詞幾秒種就能背掉。有一天晚上，我一口氣背了6個(gè)單詞呢！就在那天晚上，我第一次覺(jué)得學(xué)習(xí)英語(yǔ)并不是一件很難的事情，我也暗暗下定決心一定要把英語(yǔ)學(xué)好。
現(xiàn)在我才明白，學(xué)習(xí)英語(yǔ)其實(shí)也是件很快樂(lè)的事情。

Some are different.They are in the habit of job-hopping，for they always purpose what is new and stimulating.They never seem content with their present situations.They like to meetmore people，make more money and new acquaintances，so they hop from job to job.
As far as I am concerned，I am not in favour of constant job-hopping.I believe in a famous proverb，A rolling stone gather no moss.I want to be professionally strong.And I respect those who devote themselves to their affectionate jobs throughout their life.

有一天，爸爸收到一份廣告，上面說(shuō)人才中心要舉辦艾斯通英語(yǔ)培訓(xùn)班，由老外任教。3月13日，老外在人才中心上公開(kāi)課，那天上午，爸爸征求了我的意見(jiàn)后，帶著我去聽(tīng)公開(kāi)課。
上課了，進(jìn)來(lái)了兩個(gè)女老師。爸爸告訴我，那個(gè)金發(fā)碧眼個(gè)子很高的便是老外，旁邊那個(gè)是中國(guó)老師，她是老外的助教，在課堂教學(xué)中幫助老外和我們溝通。老外不會(huì)說(shuō)中文，她首先用英語(yǔ)作了自我介紹，接著教我們每個(gè)人都用英語(yǔ)說(shuō)“mynameis……”。那天老外上課的主要內(nèi)容是人的五官和身體的主要部位，她將這些單詞用圖形掛在黑板上，并要求我們每個(gè)人走到講臺(tái)上和她一起邊做動(dòng)作邊讀。開(kāi)始，我有些讀音發(fā)不準(zhǔn)，但老外一點(diǎn)都不煩，她耐心地教我很多遍，直到我讀準(zhǔn)確為止。當(dāng)同學(xué)們讀會(huì)這些單詞后，老外把我們?nèi)冀械街v臺(tái)上，圍成一個(gè)圈，由她指著自己身體的部位讀，如果對(duì)了，我們也用手指著自己身體同樣的部位跟著讀；如果錯(cuò)了，看我們誰(shuí)反應(yīng)快，糾正老外的'“錯(cuò)誤”。這個(gè)游戲很好玩，同學(xué)們都踴躍參與，課堂氣氛很濃。游戲結(jié)束后，老外還興致勃勃地教我們學(xué)唱英文歌……

The past years have witnessed a mounting number of Chinese scholars returning from overseas. As is lively illustrated by the column chart, the number of returnees climbed from a mere 69.3 thousand in 20xx to over 272.9 thousand in 20xx, at an annual increase rate of around 50%.
A multitude of factors may have led to the tendency revealed by the chart, but the following are the critical ones from my perspective. First and foremost, along with the development of Chinese economy and society, the number of Chinese studying abroad has been soaring in the past years, which has provided an expanding base for the number of returnees. In the second place, the government has enacted a series of preferential policies to attract overseas Chinese scholars back home. Last but not least, the booming economy, science and technology in this country have generated more attative job opportunites for scholars returning from overseas.
The waves of returnees will definitely contribute to this nations development, since they have brought back not only advanced science and technology but also pioneering concepts of education and management. With more scholars coming back from overseas, and with the concerted efforts of the whole nation, we have reasons to expect a faster rejuvenation of this country.
