陳永正的中英文辭職信

　　我想同大家分享一下關(guān)于我本人未來(lái)計(jì)劃的一項(xiàng)艱難決定，陳永正的辭職信（中英文）。今天晚些時(shí)候，我將宣布從微軟公司離任，轉(zhuǎn)入一個(gè)全新的領(lǐng)域工作。想到即將告別這份不可思議的工作，離開(kāi)四年來(lái)我有幸在微軟遇到的諸位杰出的同事，我心情頗為沉重。

　　我們共同完成了很多人認(rèn)為無(wú)法完成的工作。在短短的幾年里，我們確定了推進(jìn)微軟中華區(qū)業(yè)務(wù)發(fā)展的清晰而穩(wěn)固的戰(zhàn)略框架。我們的銷售增長(zhǎng)了幾乎一倍，大中華區(qū)的銷售收入突破了10億美元。過(guò)去的三年里，在中國(guó)大陸，我們將銷售(含coverec OEMs)業(yè)績(jī)提高了兩倍，并為2008財(cái)年實(shí)現(xiàn)10億美元的目標(biāo)做好了準(zhǔn)備。我們將未經(jīng)授權(quán)的電腦使用率(CPU)降低了20多了百分點(diǎn)；新雇用了幾百名員工；將業(yè)務(wù)運(yùn)營(yíng)擴(kuò)展到了中國(guó)大陸、香港、臺(tái)灣15個(gè)以上的城市。我們還加強(qiáng)了同客戶和合作伙伴的關(guān)系，不僅在本地區(qū)乃至全球改變了人們看待微軟的方式。

　　最重要的是，我們運(yùn)用我們的技術(shù)幫助中國(guó)大陸、香港、臺(tái)灣許許多多的人改善他們的生活和生計(jì)。一路走來(lái)。從你們每個(gè)人身上，我學(xué)到了很多；你們使我無(wú)法忘記我在微軟經(jīng)歷。

　　誠(chéng)然，變化總會(huì)伴隨著一些不確定。但是，有一點(diǎn)我堅(jiān)信不疑，那就是，公司有能力延續(xù)我們已經(jīng)開(kāi)始了的成功，我們已經(jīng)制定了經(jīng)過(guò)仔細(xì)斟酌的交接計(jì)劃，并出世界最好的領(lǐng)導(dǎo)團(tuán)隊(duì)來(lái)完成。我對(duì)目前的管理團(tuán)隊(duì)及其戰(zhàn)略充滿信心，畢竟Big Rocks計(jì)劃已經(jīng)就為。毫無(wú)疑問(wèn)，在不久的將來(lái)，微軟大中華區(qū)談?wù)摬辉偈?0億美元的突破，而是50億美元新紀(jì)錄的創(chuàng)造。

　　I want to share with you some difficult news about my future plans. Later today, I will announce that I have resigned from Microsoft and will be taking a position in a different filed. It is not without a heavy heart that I contemplate leaving the incredible work and extraordinary people that I have been privileged to encounter during my four years at Microsoft.

　　Together, we have accomplished what some might have thought could not be done. In a few short years, we have defined a clear and stable strategic framework for Microsoft’s business in the Greater China region. We have nearly doubled sales and have broken through the $1 billion mark in revenue in GCR. In China itself, we have tripled our sales in the last three years. Including those of covered OEMs, and we are posed to hit $ 1 billion in FY08. we have reduced the UPC rate by more than 20%. We have added hundreds of new people and expanded our operations to more than 15 locations across the region. We have strengthened our customer and partner relationships and transformed the way people view Microsoft, not just locally but all around the globe as well.

　　Most importantly, we’ve been able to use our technology to help improve the lives and livelihood of millions of people throughout the Greater China region. I have learned from each of you along the way and you have made my experience at Microsoft one that I will never forget.

　　While change always comes with its share of unknowns, there is one thing that I have absolutely no question about, and that is this organization’s ability to continue the great work that we’ve begun. We have a well-thought our transltion plan in place and some of the finest leadership in the team and in our strategy with the Big Rocks plan in place. I have no doubt that in the very near future, Microsoft Greater China region will no longer be talking about breaking through the $1 billion but about the $5 billion mark.

　　At 4 PM today, we will have an all-hands meeting in the Millennium Building to discuss my plans and the transition in more detail. In the meantime, I’d like to express my deep thanks to every one of you in the Microsoft Greater China region for your hard work and for your contribution to our continued success.

　　未來(lái)充滿著不可思議的機(jī)會(huì)。諸位正在為微軟大中華區(qū)不斷取得成功竭誠(chéng)盡敬，我對(duì)各位的工作充滿信心。在我對(duì)中國(guó)大陸、香港、臺(tái)灣的工作訪問(wèn)中，有機(jī)會(huì)同你 們當(dāng)中的許多人一起工作，了解到你們所處的區(qū)域幅員遼闊、生機(jī)勃勃。我將致力于擴(kuò)大微軟在過(guò)去的五年中所作的投入，使大中華區(qū)不僅在業(yè)務(wù)上取得前所未有的 成長(zhǎng)，而且成為微軟促進(jìn)實(shí)現(xiàn)下一個(gè)10億人獲得社會(huì)和經(jīng)濟(jì)持續(xù)發(fā)展這一長(zhǎng)期愿景的實(shí)證。
