　　it was so hot and suffocating in the room that i could do nothing, so after supper i came to the yard to relax. sitting in the yard, i looked at the sky. it was clear without a bit of cloud. little stars were twinkling quietly like bright eyes.

　　i looked for the milky way, the altair and vega, which made me think of the legendary cowherd and the fairy. what a mysterious world it is! all the stars in the sky mix their lays of light together although they are not so brilliant as the sun and not so clear as the moon. they shine also on the ground which turns into a wonderful world.

　　i love the starry sky in summer.

　　4月16日上午，CCTV“希望之星”英語風采大賽湘潭賽區(qū)復賽在我們東方紅學校舉行。

　　我去的時候比賽已經(jīng)開始了，只見向思璐站在上面緊張地表演著，帶動著我也緊張了起來。我一看序號，呀！馬上就到我了，于是我趕到座位上，其他同學都全神貫注地看著表演者，我也自作鎮(zhèn)定的等待著。

　　啊，馬上就到我了，我再也掩飾不住那緊張的情緒，心在不�！斑诉�，咚咚”地跳著。輪到我上場了，我懷著激動而忐忑不安的心情走上了講臺。我首先敬了個禮，做了自我介紹，然后開始有聲有色的表演我的節(jié)目，英語小故事《AGOODBOY》。我平復一下自己的情緒，然后流利地講著我的故事，邊講還邊做動作，仿佛進入了天真的情境。評委老師專注地聽著我的故事，不時用筆記一下什么，我看到一位評委老師的眼睛里露出了一點笑意，我如釋重負。我的表演結(jié)束了，回答完老師的問題后，敬了個禮，便退場了。

　　比賽結(jié)束后，在回家的路上媽媽接到電話：“您的孩子成功突圍，晉級決賽了�！蔽抑篮�，高興地跳了起來，此時此刻，我想起了之前努力的.情形：到老師家上完輔導課后，回家一遍又一遍的練習，經(jīng)常練到晚上9點多……這些都是值得的。我現(xiàn)在最要感謝的是爸爸、媽媽還有那位輔導老師。

　　正所謂：功夫不負有心人。我從這次比賽中明白了一個道理：只要有辛苦的付出，就會有更好地回報，我要繼續(xù)認真準備，爭取在決賽中取得好的成績。
