　　Happiness exists everywhere. Everyone has a different definition to the true meaning of happiness. Some people think possessing a great deal of money is the secret to happiness, while others feel giving aid to others makes them happy. I approve of the latter there are many poor people in our society, and we can contribute some money to charities to help them. When the poor receive our assistance, their lives will improve. Smiles will appear on their faces, and this is the best reward we can get from helping others. Regardless of gratitude of price, we should help others from the depths of our hearts. When we see their happy smiles, we will be happy as well. So I think that true happiness comes from the mind.

　　roaming on the path among the trees， i threw my sentiment into the blue sky， which landed on the ground of my alma mater，and brought me back to the day three years ago.

　　that was a day in fall， that was a fall in my heart. shatters swung in the air， just like golden butterflies dancing in the breeze. the sunset cast her afterglow on the ground， as well as on her dazzling pink face. after a long silence， i looked into her clear eyes， whispered to her that i wondered whether i had a position in her future. she thought it for a while， walking back and forth. i noticed she trembled lips several times and let out no words. finally， she turned to me and flashed a wry smile："sorfy， i feel that distance makes beauty， lets just be good friends." i could never forget that sentence， just like a bolt from the blue. it hit me like a thousand knives stabbing all over my body. i couldnt breathe， i couldnt think， at least not about anything but the pain. gazing at her receding figure， i couldnt stop tears wetting my pale cheeks. the tale ended with the girls disappearance from my sight.

　　now fall comes again. i left myself nothing but the broken memories.

　　錄音機(jī)和磁帶買回來了，媽媽告訴我怎么使用。我就打開錄音機(jī)開始聽起來了：先背著書聽一遍，然后背著書跟讀一遍，最后我看著書跟讀一遍。現(xiàn)在該我關(guān)了錄音機(jī)讀課文了，我一看課文，呀，我只能勉強(qiáng)用英語說出課文中人物的名字，其他的就不知道怎么讀了。這可把我急壞了，恨不得把書給撕了。媽媽安慰我說：“不要著急，事情需要一步一步的來完成，著急是沒有用的。我們換個方式來練習(xí)一下？”媽媽和我就象課文里的人物一樣來對話，介紹自己的名字和打招呼。幾遍下來，我發(fā)覺我漸漸可以完全讀課文了，這個方法真不錯！

　　讀完了課文，該聽寫了。我先看看單詞表吧，哇！有的單詞字母好多，我得好好記清楚，字母少的'就看一遍。開始聽寫了，糟糕，我只顧去記字母多的單詞，字母少的反而沒有記住。不管了，這些不知道的單詞胡編亂造也要寫完。由于剛才一著急，字母多的單詞也忘記了一些，只好空在那里了，最后錯了不少。第二次也好不到哪里去。第三次了，媽媽說，再不全對的話，就把每個單詞抄寫一篇。這次我一定要認(rèn)真記牢，反復(fù)在心里默寫幾遍，做到萬無一失，要不然，罰抄每個單詞一篇可不是好玩的。這次我滿懷信心了，當(dāng)然也全部正確了。

　　今天，我初次接觸英語，也是經(jīng)歷了一些曲折吧。從中我也體會到，學(xué)習(xí)不同的東西需要用不同的方式去對待，但是，有一點(diǎn)少不了，那就是刻苦！
