今年的英語歌謠比賽，從各班的保密程度及互相打探軍情的狀況，可以得知大家無不摩拳擦掌，希望奪下冠軍寶座。我們班也不例外，老師利用了音樂、體育課程，不斷緊鑼密鼓地練習(xí)，希望再度拿到好成績。
時間不斷地逼進，再過三天就要英語歌謠比賽了，同學(xué)們賣力地練習(xí)著跳舞、唱歌，一遍又一遍，此起彼落的歌聲回蕩在教室中，彷彿在訴說著我們有多么努力、認真。
回想起這幾個星期來，從選歌曲到編舞，每一個人絞盡腦汁地設(shè)計動作，努力練習(xí)歌曲的練唱著。一開始練舞蹈動作時狀況百出，有人像是木頭人般毫無韻律感；有人則是節(jié)拍總跟不上；有些人懶散甚至渾水摸魚，急得老師跳腳。大家總是等老師氣到臉紅脖子粗，如同火山爆發(fā)地破口大罵時，才一改懶散的態(tài)度嚴(yán)陣以待。
而媽媽在比賽這段時間，常常四處奔波只為了幫我們找尋適合歌曲的造型。有時我會陪媽媽一起去買材料，沒想到常常在車上一等就是好幾個小時。因媽媽對任何事都要求完美。他一直很在意每一個小細節(jié)，在家中總拿我當(dāng)人形模特兒，讓我試穿各類型的衣服，只為了表現(xiàn)歌曲本身的精隨。有一次，下著滂沱大雨，媽媽一樣堅持要到后火車站找尋配件，她說她希望每個同學(xué)都有最獨一無二的造型，并為我們留下美好的回憶。當(dāng)時，我知道自己不能再懶散了，看著媽媽辛苦的`付出，也讓我學(xué)會了“歡喜做，甘愿受”的道理。
這幾天我也不斷地苦練吉他，希望把每一個音節(jié)修正到位。媽媽更是千萬叮囑地請吉他老師幫我試音、調(diào)音。希望在我們比賽時，我精湛的電吉它飆音技巧能為我們班的歌曲做一完美開場，在評審心中留下深刻的印象。

I found that I could take care of myself without my parents’ help. What’s more, I made good friends here, we had the same interest and we helped each other in study. A year passed, I learned a lot and became independent.
