今年，我參加了“英語演講”體驗活動，到了現(xiàn)場，大家都在討論關于演講的要領，當然，我和我的朋友皓琳也在緊張的討論，皓琳問我:“你緊張嗎？”我不說緊張不緊張，卻反問她:“你緊張嗎？”“我很緊張，手都在都呢！”突然，工作人員進來，說要抽號，我心里在想:我會抽到一個什么號碼呢？我希望抽到一個居中的號碼，這樣好緩解一下緊張的`情緒。
開始抽號了，我第17個抽，皓琳是第18個抽，她抽到了11號，我抽到了16號，太好了，我心里暗暗竊喜！抽號環(huán)節(jié)結束了，我們被帶到了一個大廳里開始比賽。
首先上場的1號選手，接著是2號、3號……終于到我了，我做了兩個深呼吸，自信的走上臺。演講中，我完全投入到角色里，演講的非常精彩！當我演講完，臺下響起了熱烈的掌聲。
我不能放松，因為還有一個環(huán)節(jié)，即興問答，評委問了我兩個問題，我都對答如流，最終，我晉級了市決賽！
我這次英語演講體驗，讓我感受到:只要你用心去做事，總能收獲很多。臺上一分鐘，臺下十年功！我要繼續(xù)加油，爭取英語演講進入河南省決賽！

一般來說，應用文要求言簡意賅，表意明確。對于應用文的書寫，可能考生會比較頭疼。專家總結多年英語輔導經(jīng)驗，為考生提供一些小技巧。
既然是應用文，必然有嚴格的格式要求。以書信為例，如果題干中的寫信對象是關系較親密的'朋友可以直呼其名為Dear xx，其他可以稱呼為Dear Mr. xx或Dear Ms.xx。如果姓氏不明確，一般稱呼為Dear Sir or Madam。另外，正文的書寫格式也要注意。一般來說，首段開頭必須要開頭空四個字母。
應用文不要求華麗的辭藻，但是用詞準確是最基礎的要求。如果書信對象是正式的團體或機構，縮略語和口語是不允許的。其次，應用文一般會具有一定的場合性，什么樣的場合用什么樣的詞往往會成為考查點。也許考生對于一些場合用語不是很了解，其實這些基本的場合用語和格式多背多練，直接套用即可。
