　　Now National Day is coming. Second we want to visit the summer palace ,where lived many emperors during the hot days. Then we want to visit the Water Cube,where many important events are held .Finally we want to visit hutong to get a knowledge of the culture of old Beijing .I think this trip must be very interesting and we will have a good time.

　　《百萬英鎊》是講一個貧窮、誠實的人，也就是這個故事的主人公收到了一對兄弟的信，信里裝著百萬英鎊。原來這對兄弟打了一個賭，賭如果一個貧窮、誠實的人收到天上掉下的一百萬英鎊，他會有怎樣的結(jié)果?哥哥認(rèn)為他會餓死，因為他無法證明這些錢是他自己的，而且會受到別人的懷疑，就連銀行都不會讓他存錢。弟弟卻認(rèn)為他會過得很好。于是他們兄弟倆將一百萬英鎊的支票借給了這個貧窮又誠實又聰明的人，并出國呆了一個月。沒想到在這段時間里，人們對這位突然暴富的罕見富翁，竟拼命地拉攏他，從免費吃飯，買衣服，到免費住宿，一個個像乞丐一樣討好他，并不斷提高他的社會地位，一直到了除王室外最高的`公爵之上!不光如此，他還得到了一位好妻子和三萬英鎊的銀行利息，最后還從兩兄弟那兒得到了一份很好的工作，過著非常非常幸福的生活。

　　看到這兒，我很羨慕這位如此“幸運”的主人公，真希望能和他一樣幸運，但我又轉(zhuǎn)念一想：人們之所以討好他，還不是因為當(dāng)時人們太看重金錢了嗎?拜金主義是可恥的，不勞而獲更不應(yīng)該!金錢不是萬能的，世界上還有許多比金錢更重要的東西——良心和品德……
