Many people would like to choose to donate their body after they died; they think they can help the patient who needs to replace organs so that they can survive. Most people who live in American or United Kingdom will sign a body donation agreement when they still alive. However, parts of Chinese people will not like to do that because of the traditional concept, Chinese people regard dead body as an honor to the death, and incomplete body will not bring the death to heaven.
There are two reasons that people should donate their body. In the first place, we cannot bring anything with us when we are died; the most precious thing we left in earth is the memory about you in your family members head. Our remains will cremate and it will make no valuable, we will become a handful of dust, maybe it will gone with the wind. Why don’t we donate our body to help others in need, you might help someone to see the colorful world, or someone will live with a heart that can pump strongly. You can still live in this world by donating your body.
In the second place, the world after died is superstition, we died then we died. No matter what others do for our body, it wouldn’t change the fact that we don’t exist in the human world any more. Therefore, we should not worry about if our remains are complete or not. If the heaven do exist, you donate your body to save others, I’m sure you can go to heaven one hundred percent.
To speak frankly, we should donate our body to help the people who need it, which could make us a hero after we died.
In the entire world there's nobody like me. Since the beginning of time, there has never been another person like me. Nobody has my smile. Nobody has my eyes, my nose, my hair, my hands, or my voice. I'm special.
No one can be found who has my handwriting. Nobody anywhere has my tastes - for food or music or art. No one sees things just as I do. In all of time there's been no one who laughs like me, no one who cries like me. And what makes me laugh and cry will never provoke1) identical laughters and tears from anybody else, ever. No one reacts to any situation just as I would react. I'm special.
I' m the only one in all of creation2) who has my set of abilities. Oh, there will always be somebody who is better at one of the things I'm good at, but no one in the universe can reach the quality of my combination3) of talents, ideas, abilities and feelings. Like a room full of musical instruments4), some may excel5) alone, but none can match the symphony6) sound when all are played together. I'm a symphony.
Through all of eternity no one will ever look, talk, walk, think or do like me.
I'm special. I'm rare.
And, in all rarity7) there is great value. Because of my great rare value, I need not attempt to imitate8) others. I will accept - yes, indeed, celebrate9) - my differences. I'm special.
And I'm beginning to realize it's no accident that I'm special. I'm beginning to see that I have been made for a very special purpose. There is a job for me that no one else can do as well as I. Out of all the billions of job applicants10), only one is qualified, only one has the right combination of what it takes. That one is me. Because...I'm special.
I'll never forget the person who helped me The person I shall never forget is my junior high English teacher, Linda. She speaks beautiful English and she's very kind and friendly. She helped me a lot in my English learning. She always encouraged us to practise more. We often did pair work, group work, discussions and reports. She also brought us a lot of really nice English songs and chants. We never found it boring to learn English. As a result, I made great progress in English. What's more, I really enjoy learning English. I'll never forget Linda who helped me in my English study and I'll try to help others as much as I can like Linda.

I still remember the day when I took part in the English oral examination.
That morning a great number of nervous and excited young examinees stood in the hall, each waiting for his turn to have the oral exam. Some were talking loudly; others reciting and still others walking idly.Like all these young people, I had a butterfly in my stomach, not knowing what to do and just sitting on the chair with my eyes fixed on the door of the room where I would have the exam. Every time the door opened and a young man came out of it, my heart would beat fast. Though I had prepared my lessons well, I still had some fears for it was the first time I had such an important oral exam and also I had had a cold the day before and my voice had become husky because of the bad cough. I was sitting on pins and needles when suddenly my name was called.
I got up and walked quickly toward the door. Stopping in front of it, I hesitated about opening it. I felt my face red and my heart beat fast. Suddenly a kind and gentle voice rang in my ears,“Remember to be calm, not to be nervous and you can certainly pass the exam.”These words eased my mind and I calmed down. I bravely opened the door with confidence. I would certainly succeed.
most of us have had an experience which reminds us the world is getting smaller. perhaps when you went to some place far away from the city you live in and thought you knew nobody there, you were surprised to find that you ran into one of your old classmates on the street! then both of you cried out, “what a small world!”
why is the world getting smaller and smaller? for one thing, modern technology has created various means of transportation. and they are more and more available. buses, trains, planes and taxis are found in most cities of the world. they carry goods and passengers to and from every corner of the world. for another thing, with the development of modern society, people are in contact with one another more frequently.
everyday we must deal with a lot of people unknown to us before. the more advanced a society, the more contacts we make with others.so we can draw the conclusion that as long as technology makes progress, the world will grow smaller and smaller.
This year’s observance of World No Tobacco Day focuses on “Gender and tobacco, with an emphasis on marketing to women”.
Although fewer than 1 out of 10 women are smokers, that still adds up to an estimated 200 million women around the world. Moreover, that number could grow, since the tobacco industry is spending heavily on advertisements that target women and associate tobacco use with beauty and liberation.
According to a recent study by the World Health Organization (WHO), the number of girls and boys who smoked was about equal in half the 151 countries surveyed. This finding is even more worrisome since young people who smoke are likely to continue in adulthood.
Evidence indicates that the prevalence rate of tobacco use among women is on the rise in some countries. Governments everywhere must take action to protect women from tobacco advertising, promotion and sponsorship, as stipulated in the WHO Framework Convention on Tobacco Control.
The Convention also calls on Governments to protect women from second-hand tobacco smoke — especially in countries where women feel powerless to protect themselves and their children. As WHO data show, of the 430,000 adults who die each year from second-hand smoke, nearly two thirds are women.
Around the world, more than 1.5 million women die each year from tobacco use. Most of these deaths occur in low- and middle-income countries. Without concerted action, that number could rise to 2.5 million women by the year 20xx.
We must turn back the global tobacco epidemic. On World No Tobacco Day, I urge all Governments to address this public health threat. Tobacco use is not stylish or empowering. It is ugly and deadly.
