The outside world is beautiful, they can play with their friends, watching movies, taking a break now and then. Play can make study better, students can have new idea, so they won’t stuck in the unsolved problem. Study needs to combine with play.

創(chuàng)造學(xué)習(xí)英語的環(huán)境對學(xué)不好英語的原因，我聽得最多的一個理由就是沒有英語環(huán)境。其實，你有很多的英語環(huán)境，比如圖書館提供了學(xué)英語的好環(huán)境，我在上大學(xué)的時候曾在圖書館里借過、讀過相當(dāng)多的英語書。同時，圖書館里還有各種各樣的英文報紙、雜志。還有，眾多的國外英語廣播節(jié)目(如BBC、VOA)可以聽，國內(nèi)也有很多不錯的英文廣播可以聽。英語電視節(jié)目更是豐富多彩，有英語新聞、英語音樂、英語電影。
當(dāng)然，還要創(chuàng)造說英語的環(huán)境。你可以找外國人說英語，你還可以找?guī)讉�學(xué)英語的朋友一起練口語。你可以到英語角去練習(xí)口語。當(dāng)然，你還可以自己跟自己說英語。你也可以去參加各種各樣的英語講座：電腦的.、化學(xué)的、物理的、數(shù)學(xué)的、醫(yī)學(xué)的。
如何支配時間英語學(xué)習(xí)的時間支配，取決于你要發(fā)展的是哪一種英語技能。有些技能的訓(xùn)練，花費的時間越長越好。有些技能就需要每次短時間的強化練習(xí)。
比如，發(fā)展閱讀技能，你每次讀的時間越長越好。大量的讀是提高英語閱讀水平的前提。聽力技能的培養(yǎng)也是一樣，每次聽的時間越長越好。
語音技能的訓(xùn)練則不然，每次語音練習(xí)兩三個小時，就不科學(xué)，效率也不高。你應(yīng)該把較長的時間分成較短的時間段。每次練習(xí)時應(yīng)使大腦保持在大腦處于最清醒狀態(tài)。這樣集中練習(xí)半個小時，就應(yīng)停下來。一次練習(xí)過后，再過一段時間(比如三個小時)再練習(xí)半小時，就再停下來這種短時間段的高強度重復(fù)，是提高語音技能的最有效的方法。
