　　推薦人應(yīng)以該�；蛟摴咎ь^的信紙及信封來撰寫信件，中文抬頭的信紙及信封亦可，如果真的沒有任何信紙及信封，可請(qǐng)推薦人附上名片并在推薦函上蓋上學(xué)校章或公司章(不過有些學(xué)校還是要有抬頭的信紙及信封)。

　　英國(guó)留學(xué)推薦信寫作的內(nèi)容則應(yīng)以英文撰寫并以黑色筆或利用電腦打字。內(nèi)容包括：

　　1、推薦人由下列各方面表達(dá)其對(duì)申請(qǐng)人的學(xué)業(yè)能力之看法：

　　a、以往的學(xué)業(yè)成就，包含考試成績(jī)

　　d、創(chuàng)造力、想像力

　　e、可靠性及責(zé)任感(請(qǐng)就所了解的程度說明申請(qǐng)人所負(fù)責(zé)之職務(wù))

　　f、興趣之廣泛性、包括參與活動(dòng)和社會(huì)組織

　　g、社交能力和個(gè)人關(guān)系

　　3、申請(qǐng)人對(duì)所申請(qǐng)之課程的適用性及對(duì)選讀科系之學(xué)習(xí)能力

　　4、申請(qǐng)人修完其課業(yè)后的生涯展望

　　如果是離校很久之成人申請(qǐng)者，推薦人可能很難就其學(xué)術(shù)能力給予評(píng)論。此時(shí)，可能提供申請(qǐng)個(gè)人能力與自我激勵(lì)能力的看法，且說明其認(rèn)為申請(qǐng)者可能應(yīng)付學(xué)位課程的理由，其工作經(jīng)歷及推薦人對(duì)申請(qǐng)者之工作績(jī)效也應(yīng)包括在內(nèi)。
