【教具準(zhǔn)備】
一張中國地圖以及本課時所需的單詞卡片。
天氣預(yù)報英文解說的實錄。
教材相配套的教學(xué)課件
教材相配套的教學(xué)錄音帶。
學(xué)生準(zhǔn)備好四張描述天氣狀況的形容詞卡片以及寫有城市名稱的卡片若干。
【教學(xué)過程】
�。ㄒ唬嵘�、復(fù)習(xí) (Warm-up/Revision)
1、學(xué)生一起說兒歌（Let’s chant P31）
2、教師手指自己的衣服說：I am wearing a …. What are you wearing？引導(dǎo)學(xué)生說出自己穿的衣服的名稱，如： a shirt、jeans、black shoes….
�。ǘ┏尸F(xiàn)新課 （Presentation）
教師說：It’s warm today.（指指外面） So we wear shirts or T-shirts. Today we are going to learn about the weather. Now let’s watch a weather report.
教師播放一段英文解說的天氣預(yù)報實錄。待學(xué)生看完后，教師說：This is a weather report.
同時呈現(xiàn)單詞卡片，領(lǐng)讀weather report（把卡片貼到黑板上）
教師要注意提醒學(xué)生讀weather時，th咬舌尖。
教師播放Unit 4 Let’s learn A部分的課件。學(xué)生觀看。
教師提問：Is it a weather report?
學(xué)生回答：Yes, it’s a weather report.
教師再問：Is it warm in Lhasa？點擊句子It’s cool in Lhasa.
引導(dǎo)學(xué)生答出：No. It’s cool in Lhasa.讓更多的學(xué)生重復(fù)回答。
告訴學(xué)生拉薩位于我國西藏自治區(qū)，那里的天氣很涼快，cool是形容天氣涼快；而warm一詞是形容天氣暖和，北京的春天就是很溫暖的。教師說：It’s warm in Beijing.并引導(dǎo)學(xué)生跟讀。
教師將單詞卡warm、cool貼黑板，請部分學(xué)生朗讀單詞。
然后提問：Where is cool？ Where is warm？
啟發(fā)學(xué)生回答：It’s cool in Lhasa. It’s warm in Beijing.
鼓勵學(xué)生用warm和cool描述我國其他城市的天氣狀況：It’s warm / cool in .…, 如果有不符合實際的敘述，教師可以用 It isn’t warm/cool in……進行簡單糾正，從而為學(xué)生進一步的學(xué)習(xí)留下懸念，小學(xué)英語教案《Unit 4 It’s warm today第一課時》。
請學(xué)生觀察書中插圖：Which city can you find？
學(xué)生答出：Harbin、Hong Kong
教師說：It’s cold in Harbin. It’s hot in Hong Kong.
用體態(tài)語言解釋hot和cold的意思。領(lǐng)讀單詞（把卡片貼到黑板上）。
教師說：It’s cool in Lhasa. It’s warm in Beijing. What’s the weather like in Harbin?
引導(dǎo)學(xué)生說出：It’s cold in Harbin.
提問：What’s the weather like in Hong Kong?
引導(dǎo)學(xué)生說出：It’s hot in Hong Kong.
教師出示中國地圖，邊指邊說：Here is Beijing. What is the weather like in Beijing?
學(xué)生回答：It’s warm in Beijing.
教師問：What’s the weather like in Harbin/Hong Kong/Lhasa?
學(xué)生分別回答：It’s cold in Harbin.
It’s hot in Hong Kong.
It’s cool in Lhasa.
引導(dǎo)學(xué)生用What the weather like in……?提問關(guān)于我國其他城市的天氣狀況。
教師邊回答問題邊在地圖上指出學(xué)生所問的城市。
教師播放自制課件，點擊出12個城市的天氣狀況。每點擊一個城市, 學(xué)生用It’s …in…來描述一次。
學(xué)?-4人一組，仿照課文表演一個城市天氣預(yù)報。Good morning. This is a weather report.(一起說)，然后每人預(yù)報兩個城市的天氣。
練習(xí)好以后，教師找?guī)讉�組來在班里表演，教師要及時做出評價。
（三）趣味操練 (Practice)
兩人小組活動。學(xué)生A手中拿著城市名稱卡片（課件中的12個城市），學(xué)生B手中拿著天氣卡片。學(xué)生A隨意拿出一張卡片并說：It’s… 學(xué)生B根據(jù)A拿的城市的天氣狀況拿出相應(yīng)的天氣卡片并說：It’s…，然后兩人一起說：It’s …in…
�。ㄋ模⿺U展性活動(Add-activities)
1、做本單元A Let’s Learn部分的活動手冊配套連習(xí)。
2、試一試給同伴、朋友、家長預(yù)報天氣，并建議他們穿上合適的衣服。用到句型It’s …… Put on your .…
