　　Water 水

　　Water is very important to us. If you don’t have water for three days, you will die. We can use water for flowers, swimming, washing and many different things. We use it to cook, make electricity, put out fires and so on. We use millions of liters of water every day.

　　Do you know how does the water come to your home? It travels through water pipes. Some are long and wide but some are short and narrow. Then the water travels through the water pipes to the reservoirs. Then it travels through the water pipes to the river and to the special factories (we call water plants) that purify the water. When the water is purified, we can drink it. Please don’t leave garbage in the water on which we line, and keep the water clean.

　　水對我們很重要。如果你沒有水三天，你會死的。我們可以用水沖洗，游泳，和許多不同的事情。我們用它來做飯，發(fā)電，撲滅火災(zāi)等。我們使用數(shù)百萬公升的水每天。

　　你知道水是如何來到您的家嗎？它穿過水管。有些是長和寬但有些短而窄。然后通過水管到水庫。然后穿過河流和特別的工廠（我們稱之為水植物）的凈化水。當水的凈化，我們可以喝它。請不要再水里留下垃圾，并保持水的干凈。

　　嚴重的水災(zāi) Serious Floods

　　The Yangzte River is the longest river in China. And it’s important and helpful to us Chinese. But these days the Yangtze River is bringing us serious floods.

　　Many villages were destroyed by floods. The floods made hundreds of millions of people lose their homes, relatives and friends. Many children can’t go to school as usual .Now the foods have drawn the attention of the whole world. People from abroad have offered their help too. In China, millions of soldiers are busy fighting against the floods. They are working very hard. Many of them have lost their lives in their attempt to save the villagers.

　　Though we can’t help them to fight against floods, we should help them to rebuild their homeland. We can present them our pocketmoney and clothes. I believe most of the people will return to their homeland in the near future.

　　長江是中國最長的河流。,是很重要的,有利于我們中國。但現(xiàn)在長江給我們帶來嚴重的洪水。

　　許多村莊被洪水沖毀了。洪水使成千上萬的人失去了家園,親戚和朋友。許多孩子不能去上學�，F(xiàn)在的食物發(fā)放已經(jīng)吸引了全世界的注意。來自國外的人也給予了幫助。在中國,數(shù)以百萬計的士兵正忙著對抗洪水。他們工作非常努力。他們中的許多人已經(jīng)失去了他們的生命在他們試圖拯救村民。

　　盡管我們不能幫助他們對抗洪水,我們應(yīng)該幫助他們重建家園。我們可以捐出零花錢和衣服。我相信大多數(shù)人會在不久的將來重返家園。

　　節(jié)約型社會 Economical society

　　It’s well known that water is very important to man．We can’t live without water．The amount of water which is suitable to drink is falling quickly．But some people don’t care about it．They waste a lot of water in their daily life．Even worse，they pour dirty water into rivers．They throw rubbish into rivers，too．Many rivers and lakes seriously polluted．Something must be done to stop the pollution．In this way，We can live happily．If we don’t save water，the last drop water will be a teardrop．

　　眾所周知，水是非常重要的人。我們的生活不能沒有水。水可喝的數(shù)量急劇下降。但有些人不關(guān)心它。他們在日常生活中浪費很多水。更糟糕的是，他們把臟水倒入河流。他們?nèi)永�圾到河流，很多河流和湖泊污染嚴重。必須做些什么來制止污染。這樣，我們可以快樂地生活。如果我們不節(jié)約用水，最后一滴水將是一滴淚。

　　saving water 節(jié)約用水

　　As we all know, water is essential in our daily life. We drink water every day, we use water to wash things and cook food, we also use water to make machines. People can't live without water.

　　Though about 75% of the earth is covered with water, only 3% of it is fresh water. So we must save water by having a shower instead of a bath. We can save water by fixing dripping taps immediately and we can also save water by not washing under a running tap.

　　我們都知道水對于日常生活的重要性。我們每天喝水，用水洗東西和烹制食物，我們還用水來制造機器。離開水，人類就無法存活。

　　雖然地球75%都被水覆蓋，但其中只有3%是淡水。所以我們應(yīng)該用淋浴代替泡澡來節(jié)約水，同時及時修好滴水的水龍頭，并且不要開著水龍頭洗東西。

　　Water Pollution 水污染

　　With the development of industry, water pollution is becoming more and more serious now.

　　The polluted water not noly kills fish, it is also harmful to our health, Many people get sick because they drink the polluted water.

　　In some rivers the water is so dirty that thay can even kill plants.

　　We should fight against the pollution. We should stop using harmful things, I wish it is not a dream that in the near future we can have

　　clean rivers again.

　　隨著工業(yè)的發(fā)展，水污染變動更加嚴重.

　　水污染不但可以殺死魚類，對我們的健康也是有很大危害，很多人喝了受污染的水而患病.

　　在很多河里，水很臟，最終殺死了河里的植物.

　　我們應(yīng)該反對水污染，也應(yīng)該暫停使用有危害的東西，我希望這不是一個夢，在不遠的將來，我們能夠再有干凈的河流.

　　世界水日 World Water Day

　　Nice hearing from you. Let me tell you what we often do on World Water Day. On March 22nd all the teachers and students of the school take part in different activities. Lots of students put on short plays. Some plays are funny, and they show us wasting water is bad for humans. Many students take part in the speech competition. They tell us what we should do to save water. Some teachers and students make posters and put them up in the school and neihborhood. In this way, more people know the World Water Day and join us. All these activities are helpful. More and more people know the importance of water and begin to save it. Maybe you do the same.
