this afternoon i went to see my grandma by bus. it was very crowded. i had to stand. beside me was a woman with a little girl in her arms. but in front of her, a young man occupied two seats, pretending to be sleeping.
i heard the little girl asking her mother, "whats wrong with the uncle?" i had thought that perhaps the mother would blame the man. but out of my epectation, the woman answered with a smile, "be quiet. this uncle must be very tired because of hard work." the young man must have heard these words. his face turned red and he offered one seat to the little girl at once.
the woman respected the young man and didnt blame him in public. in this way, she made him feeli ashamed and corrected his bad behavior. i think the woman is very smart.

今年我們組制訂的英語學科活動為：“小學生英語作文大賽”，主要是五、六年級的學生參賽。
開學初，我在我們組訂的英語報紙上看到了“小學生英語作文大賽”的消息，免報名費，但是，又仔細一讀，每個參賽選手要訂閱全年的報紙，大約三十多元，這等于是有報名費的。在教研會上討論時，大家認為訂閱報紙錢數過多，訂閱的報紙也沒有時間組織學生學習，不如在五、六年級組織比賽作文，不收報名費，成為我們組的學科活動，這一共識達成之后，我們五、六年級的四位英語教師就把任務布置下去了：題目自擬，題材不限，字數達50個單詞以上，語言流暢，書寫美觀。
我們給學生的`寫作時間是一個月。
十一月，我們的活動正式開展。經過統(tǒng)計，此次作文比賽共收上來英語文章240余篇，其中五年級110篇，六年級130篇。經過各位教師的評選，批改，共評出一等獎20人，二等獎50人，三等獎80人，鼓勵參與獎90人。各獎項已經發(fā)了獎品作為獎勵。
本次活動的舉行，五、六年級的學生參與性強，經常有孩子來問老師怎么選題，用什么時態(tài)來寫，這個句型這樣寫行不行，這句話中的這個詞能不能用別的詞來代替。他們寫好以后，還請教師批改，再工工整整的重新謄抄一遍，在寫作文的過程當中，他們的詞匯增多了，句型運用更靈活了，就連書寫也美觀了，許多學生有了收獲。
本次活動的舉行，體現了小學英語課程標準的對學生的寫的能力的要求，并且高于新課標的要求，對學生的寫作能力是個鍛煉，提高了他們寫作的積極性，促使他們積極主動的學習，從要我背單詞到我要積極的多背單詞。學習態(tài)度發(fā)生了轉變。體現了新課標的要求。
本次活動也有值得注意的地方：
一．學生的參與面再廣一些就好了；
二．教師先給范文，再讓學生摹寫，對更多的學生是個鍛煉；
三．好的英語小作文要收集好，制作出作文集錦，讓學生互相學習；
