The tree-planting day was dedicated in the memory of Sun Yat-sen. Mr. Sun had always pay great attention to trees planting. In the year of 1914, he promulgated the first Forest Law in history. Then the government and the ordinary people started to plant trees in the spring. On March 12th, 1925, Mr. Sun passed away, in order to memorialize the great contribution he had make to our country, the government decided every year of this day is the tree-planting day.

In 20xx, the slogan of tree-planting day is Embrace the spring, Sow the Green. Trees are so important to our planet. The naturalists compare the trees to human beings lungs. Its true that trees take in the carbon dioxide and other toxic gas and give off oxygen which living beings lives on it. If trees were all cut down, the earth would be a disaster. First of it, the temperature will raising then the glaciers will melt. Thus the cities near the ocean will be flooded. Second, the trees are the habitat of many animals. When we cut down trees, we not only destroy animals habitats but also ourselves. We just gradually destroy natural links. Last but not least, trees can prevent water loss and soil erosion; its the key to maintain the balance.

In this way, adults, moreover, will not only benefit from their leisure time in relaxing, but also get a way to improve their qualities to compete. So we can simply draw a conclusion from the reason I’ve just outlined: Games are essential for adults in restoring their energy.
Secondly, if an adult plays a carefully chosen game, which is comparatively more useful for training his mind, a metamorphosis will occur in his mental degree. Some games, known to all, are designed for pondering as well as for fun. With the effects of these games, intellectual coaching is occurring during the hours when you’re absorbed in the game. In such a substantial influence, one will undoubtedly obtain mammoth progresses in his speed to solve the massive problems and in his confidence to crack obstacles. So we can regard games as a teacher, who teaches us extra knowledge providing us with a considerable benefit.

one evening i visited the english corner of our university. it lies heside our university library where trees and flowers grow and there is a spacious ground. every evening,large numbers of people go there to improve their english, but i had never been there before.
when i arrived there, many people had already been there. i looked around and found that most of them were college students. some of them were talking in english in twos and threes. from time to time they laughed joyfully. to my great surprise, i even fimnd three foreigners talking and smiling with stone students who were listening with great interest. just then,a tall student came towards me and asked: "shall we have a talk in english?" my heart beat very fast at that moment for this was the first time for me to visit the english corner. anyway, i managed to say "yes". soon we were talking freely about our studies, our lives, our hobbies as well as our problems of learning english. time went fast, and it was already 10 o'clock before i realized it.
i had a good time there and was glad to learn a lot at the corner. i understood the proverb better: "practice makes perfect."
