It has a note in themiddle of the book where I saw a poem----Saying Good-bye to Cambridge Again writtenin Chinese on the paper.

If I find dog, and can’t find its owner, I will take it to the police station. Police can help people to find missing things. I can still remember, when I lost my first bike. I felt like it was the end of the world and cried all the way home. My mother comforted me first, and took me to the police station. The police officer was kind and gentle. Surprisingly, the police office found my bike a week later. So if I find a dog, and can not find it’s owner by myself, I will take it to the police station.
If I find a dog, and I like it, maybe, just maybe, I will bring it home. I really love dogs, and I always dreamed about having anothe dog, since Bingso was lost. I will treat it as well as I treated Bingo. I will work it everyday, and make sure the lish is good enough. May be I will treat it better than Bingo. Currently, some cities are considering a food ban on subways, which has sparked heated discussion. Some people say food should be banned because of the trash and rats they attract. And, garbage from discarded food can cause track fires. Beyond sanitary and mechanical concerns, food can also cause fights, as was discovered last week by one passenger who criticized a woman eating steamed stuffed bun on the subway.

Besides, there are people, for example diabetics, who do require food at various times to maintain blood-sugar levels.

THE annual review of American company board practices by Korn/Ferry, a firm of headhunters, is a useful indicator of the health of corporate governance. This year's review, published on November 12th, shows that the Sarbanes-Oxley act, passed in 20xx to try to prevent a repeat of corporate collapses such as Enron's and WorldCom's, has had an impact on the boardroom--albeit at an average implementation cost that Korn/Ferry estimates at $5.1m per firm.
Two years ago, only 41% of American firms said they regularly held meetings of directors without their chief executive present; this year the figure was 93%. But some things have been surprisingly unaffected by the backlash against corporate scandals. For example, despite a growing feeling that former chief executives should not sit on their company's board, the percentage of American firms where they do has actually edged up, from 23% in 20xx to 25% in 20xx.
Also, disappointingly few firms have split the jobs of chairman and chief executive. Another survey of American boards published this week, by A.T. Kearney, a firm of consultants, found that in 20xx 14% of the boards of S&P 500 firms had separated the roles, and a further 16% said they planned to do so. But by 20xx only 23% overall had taken the plunge. A survey earlier in the year by consultants at McKinsey found that 70% of American directors and investors supported the idea of splitting the jobs, which is standard practice in Europe.
