a nice cool shower first thing in the morning wakes me up completely and leaves me refreshed. before taking the shower, i am usually so sleepy that i can hardly open my eyes.
as soon as i splash cold water over my face and body, i wake up with a pleasurable sensation. then, as i stand there under the gushing showerhead, feeling the coolness of water over my body and listening to the sound of water gurgling down the drain, i feel totally refreshed and relaxed. i enjoy taking morning showers. it is the best way i know to get the day off to a good start. (2)she was taking a morning shower. the warm spray from the showerhead danced on her hair and foamed down her body. steam came up and soon the bathroom was foggy. she closed her eyes, feeling the foams covering her body with thousand of kisses. in the sunbeams that streamed in through the only window, water drops glittered like morning dews. a cool wind rushed in. she looked out the window. some leaves were falling. "it must be autumn!" she murmured to herself. she stood motionless. there was no sound except that of water gurgling down the drain. (3)every morning, as soon as the alarm clock wakes me up, i get out of bed and go into the bathroom, sleepy-eyed. after taking off my clothes, i rub my body to stimulate circulation. then i turn the faucet on. a hissing avalanche of water foams down my body in cold sheets.
i close my eyes, not thinking about anything, so that i can better enjoy the cool sensation and pleasurable prickliness of the cold spray. i stay this way for about two minutes. when i finish, i dry myself with a towel, put on my clothes and step out of the bathroom refreshed and relaxed.

ladies and gentleman,we are here today to witness and celebrate a passage of life, a passage of love, which ariele and martin have chosen to enter upon. they have decided to become more than just lovers, but a family. moving from onstage of life to another. you have been invited to be physical representatives of the divine and give your support to their union, so as to help make their new path a joyous one, one that is walked upon with wonder and ease. for truly, whether we recognize it or not, we are all family all of the time. therefore we deeply thank you for your presence as we thank the goddess herself for being with us always.this celebration is not and end, but a beginning, the start of a new process. from my experience it is not the marriage ceremony nor the marriage that is important, but the love and friendship that you share. those will ensure a longer lasting relationship than any ritual.

今年暑假，我報(bào)名參加了全省少兒英語(yǔ)朗誦電視表演大賽。有三千多人參賽。比賽分為四個(gè)組別，分別是：幼兒組、小學(xué)A組（我參加的組別）、小學(xué)B組、中學(xué)組。分初賽、復(fù)賽、半決賽、決賽四個(gè)賽程。競(jìng)爭(zhēng)很激烈，從三千人中最后決出四十名選手進(jìn)入決賽。
我抱著試試看的心情參加了比賽，想練練膽子，希望能提高自己的英語(yǔ)水平。初賽的時(shí)候，我有些緊張，自我介紹的時(shí)候都卡殼了，不過(guò)幸好我的'英語(yǔ)歌曲唱得不錯(cuò)，順利過(guò)關(guān)，進(jìn)入復(fù)賽。
復(fù)賽的時(shí)候，我的心情不那么緊張了，并且增加了一個(gè)Story time的才藝展示。幾天后，接到了參加半決賽的通知。
半決賽在杭州濱江區(qū)的浙江藝術(shù)職業(yè)學(xué)院的演播廳舉行。按規(guī)定，每個(gè)組別是20人參加，但是由于競(jìng)爭(zhēng)很激烈，我們組有25人參賽，要選出10人參加決賽，比別的組更艱難。結(jié)果我發(fā)揮較為出色，殺入了決賽。哇，好高興！
一周后，決賽開(kāi)始。評(píng)委也增加到了9個(gè)。比賽分為4個(gè)環(huán)節(jié)：自我介紹、才藝展示 、即興演講和評(píng)委提問(wèn)，要求也更加嚴(yán)格，超過(guò)時(shí)間就會(huì)被卡斷。我抽到最后一個(gè)出場(chǎng)，由于還是有些緊張，居然漏了一項(xiàng)才藝表演。不過(guò)其他都發(fā)揮正常。
經(jīng)過(guò)2個(gè)多小時(shí)的比賽和評(píng)委的認(rèn)真評(píng)選，獎(jiǎng)項(xiàng)正式開(kāi)出，我獲得了這次全省第二屆少兒英語(yǔ)朗誦電視大賽小學(xué)A組的銅獎(jiǎng)。哈哈，真沒(méi)想到！通過(guò)這次比賽，我得到了鍛煉，開(kāi)闊了眼界，也提高了學(xué)好英語(yǔ)的興趣。正像老師說(shuō)的那樣，重要的不是結(jié)果，是參與比賽的過(guò)程！
