　　It was the first day of our winter holiday. All of us were very happy. Why? Because we have one months to do things we love to do. We are free. Although we have some homework. In winter holidays, I want to have full sleep and eat good food in order to replenish myself. Last but not the least, I will have a good rest.

　　It was the second day of our winter holiday. I felt good. I felt I’m free. I had a lot of time to do things I like. My parents are in Beijing. So I live alone but I don’t feel lonely. But I didn’t do something special. I stayed at home and watched TV. Oh! I wrote an English daily composition. It was my homework. Today, I have slept for 14 hours. I thought I was very tired. 　　年少輕狂，縱心知，然每于行，或嘗抱怨，指責(zé)不休。但每思過，食日難改。隨年齡之長，漸曉之，父之偉大，一人活一家，不易之極。雖年齡近半百，因為塵世之奔波，夜替子女分憂！父雖凡而偉，雖矮而高，雖老而盛…………吾之偶像！去年六月，逢吾高考，父重病患絕癥無從醫(yī)治。大夫曰：熬不過半載。吾知此事，心如刀割，終日哭哭啼啼，故厭學(xué)。然父曰：此乃命也，命薄，短壽，怪不得何人許？為父心痛吾兒未婚，吾女未嫁，齡甚小，上有老，下有小，父之使命未完成也！若離去，妻兒何過？

　　公元兩千一十四年十一月二十日，父忍痛離世，狠心舍妻兒。吾在外地，未見最后一面，心痛。乃大哭，父養(yǎng)育之恩，今生兒無以回報，此乃兒之憾也！

　　吾終不忘，今又是父親佳節(jié)，兒唯有以書信抒情，方能解愧，大愛無言亦無疆，吾之生如父親，不易善言，內(nèi)向如他。心中，突然偶閃佳句：‘’世界上最美麗的字眼就是母親。紀(jì)伯倫之語可謂入木三分。而吾認(rèn)為，則是父親。

　　one day, all my family went to climb a mountain. there father told my elder sister and me that the first one to get to the top of the mountain would be given a toy. hearing this, we began to run up. at first i kept ahead, but a few minutes later my sister was ahead of me. however, i didnt give up. that toy attracted me to run forward, in the end i reached the top first.

　　on the top we enjoyed the beautiful scenery and had a picnic. at dusk, we went down the mountain happily. i was the happiest one, because i not only got a toy train but also knew that one shouldnt give up readily.

　　今年我18歲了，但是童年的記憶依然像讓人難忘的甜蜜的夢。
