Early in senior high school, we longed to be enrolled in a university. Now the dream has come true. But how do we college students like our campus life?
Certainly, some relish it, finding it colorful and rewarding. Besides study, they spend considerable amount of time improving themselves in various aspect. Yet others do not think much of their college life, thus do not benefit as much. In their eyes, the university is just a bigger high school. The only difference is that they have more time at their disposal without parents looking over their shoulder.
As to me, college life is ideal if only I have abundant books to read, some bosom friends to keep me company, a couple of conscientious professors to instruct me.

Burning Rubbish Is Harmful to People
A few days ago, I went to the railway station to see my friend off. On the way I saw street leaners burning garbage. I know they were trying to get rid of rubbish in a way they thought was“Taking a shortcut.” I don’t think, however, it’s proper to clear away rubbish by such a means.
Burning things does harm to people. It’s known to all that burning rubbish will give off poisonous smoke and dust which in turn pollute air. Many people contract cancer as a result of breathing the polluted air. Some of them even die of it.
There are many things in rubbish that can be rotten decomposed, such as dry leaves, leftover food, etc. They can make very good fertilizer. So it’s better to collect them for cropland.

那和藹的眼神我久久不能忘卻：“明年我們卷土重來！”
這學(xué)期我參加了英語拼詞大賽，和我一同參加這次比賽的隊(duì)員來自不同的班級(jí)，我們彼此之間不是很熟悉，錄制完自我介紹的視頻后，便再無音訊，大家便各自準(zhǔn)備各的，迎接決賽的到來……
比賽如期而至，我們隊(duì)代表英語W老師參賽，我們上場前，W老師拍拍我的肩：“加油！你一定行！”帶著老師期望的我們，在第一輪卻已落后4分，我們時(shí)不時(shí)望著臺(tái)下的W老師，不知道他會(huì)不會(huì)覺得可惜？會(huì)不會(huì)對(duì)我們失望？但當(dāng)我們決定通過那幾道10分值的題目扳回一局時(shí)，卻屢戰(zhàn)屢敗，三輪下來，不但沒有按我預(yù)想中的進(jìn)行，反而丟失了三十分，我知道，分值再高的題目，也不能幫我們贏回勝利了。
在我們隊(duì)的無限自責(zé)中，比賽也接近了尾聲，我們的'W老師作為英語教研組長為臺(tái)上的選手頒獎(jiǎng)。“三等獎(jiǎng)中的三等獎(jiǎng)”（最后一名）的我們，恨不得找個(gè)地洞鉆進(jìn)去，W老師看到有意躲在人群中的我們，大步走到我們身邊：“來，讓我給我的孩子們頒獎(jiǎng)！”說著，我們每個(gè)人的脖子上也多了一塊獎(jiǎng)牌，W老師遞給我們一個(gè)和藹的眼神：“一次輸贏說明不了什么，大家努力了就好，好好復(fù)習(xí)，明年的拼詞大賽我們卷土重來！”我望著W老師那張親切的臉，他的眼神里沒有一絲責(zé)備，更多的是關(guān)愛，我不禁心生暖意，是��！明年我們卷土重來！
