　　Before I started at university，I took my first job as a waitress in a nice restaurant。At the night before my first day。I was too excited to go to sleep and as a result，I got up late in the morning。I threw on my clothes and rushed over to the restaurant。

　　In a GREat hurry，I didn＇t hear clearly the head waiter＇s instruction that we should go into the kitchen through one door and out from the other。So when I took two plates of eggs and bacon and an orange juice out to the restaurant，I went straight towards the wrong door and collided with another waiter coming in!

　　Worst of all was that I wore a pair of smart shoes but with high heels! A few hours later I was in agony yet had no time to change them。 By the time we finished serving dinner at about 10:30 I was completely exhausted。 Nevertheless， I learnt something through my experience。

　　英語作文本發(fā)下來了，我翻開老師寫給我的評(píng)語，“咦”？老師寫的評(píng)語怎么歪歪扭扭的呢？平時(shí)老師對(duì)我們的書寫那么嚴(yán)格，但如今她自己寫得那么丑，我心里默默的想，老師也太不負(fù)責(zé)任了。

　　“叮、叮、�！�。上課鈴響了，原本這是一節(jié)我們期待已久的英語課，但班主任語文老師走了進(jìn)來，說：“今天，我們的英語老師請(qǐng)假，我來代課”。聽了這句話，我不禁又對(duì)英語老師不負(fù)責(zé)任的印象又加深了一點(diǎn)。

　　可是，第二天早上，我們吃完早餐回到教室，又看到了英語老師忙碌的`身影，一堆同學(xué)圍著她，我們的英語老師還是和往常一樣專心至至的為我們講題和批改作業(yè)，但是，也和往常不一樣的是我發(fā)現(xiàn)她的右手手掌受傷了，纏著厚厚的繃帶。我馬上從四面八方偷偷的打聽，老師手為什么纏著繃帶，后來才知道是老師的手不小心扭到了，而且還挺嚴(yán)重，這時(shí)，我情不自禁的想起昨天我對(duì)老師一些不好的想法，又情不自禁的想起了之前英語老師對(duì)我們的關(guān)懷。

　　記得有一天，英語老師發(fā)燒了，但是她仍然是勉強(qiáng)得走進(jìn)教室，一進(jìn)來，我們就發(fā)現(xiàn)她連打幾個(gè)哈欠，還是用沙啞的聲音說了句“上課”，我們聽著她那沙啞的聲音才知道老師是發(fā)燒了，想到這里，我忽然間恍然大悟，錯(cuò)了,錯(cuò)了，我這才從老師對(duì)我們成績(jī)的關(guān)懷中醒了過來，因?yàn)槔蠋煋?dān)心我們的成績(jī)跟不上去，所以多次帶病無微不至的教導(dǎo)我們，我為我之前的想法而感到羞愧。

　　突然，我感覺我身體動(dòng)了一下，原來是同桌碰了下我，提醒我這是上課時(shí)間，我才從我的回憶中回過神來，于是，我再次翻開我的英文作文本，看到那一行行歪歪扭扭的英語單詞，仿佛它們就像是我們的英語老師，一次次的為我們批注作業(yè)，再看看老師手都傷成這樣還在很操心的為我們的英語課而忙碌，看著她忙前忙后的身影，就像是作文本上上的一行行歪歪扭扭的英語單詞。同時(shí)，我也為我們有這么好的一位老師而感到自豪。

　　This picture of my teacher is true. She devotes herself to the cause of education. She prepares and organizes her lessons so well that we are fully attentive in her class. After class she often gives lessons to the students who have been absent from school because of illness. With her help we have become more and more interested in our English study.

　　Whenever we have problems we will turn to her for help. As a matter of fact, she is more an intimate friend to us than a respected teacher. We have learnt a great deal from her devotion to her work, her conscientiousness in teaching, and her readiness to help others.
