Then, confidence makes us brave and courageous. If we lack confidence in ourselves, how can we overcome difficulties we meet with? If we have no confideuce in ourselves, how can we succeed in developing ourselves in the future?Without confidence, nothing can be accomplished. That is to say, if you want to win, you have to believe in yourself.

in my opinion, friends can share something but they also should keep their own secrets. so i wish my friends wouldnt interfere in my privacy too much. on the other hand, my friends should have something in common with me, at the same time something special. in this way we can attract each other and learn from each other.

記得剛到美國時(shí)候，上課時(shí)我聽得一頭霧水的。特別是在上歷史、地理等我不熟悉的課時(shí)。老師在上面嘰哩呱啦地講些什么都搞不清,好象在聽鳥語似的。只有在上內(nèi)容較熟悉的數(shù)學(xué)課的時(shí)候好一點(diǎn)。那時(shí)我真的.挺恨英語的，恨它為什么這么怪，恨它為什么是世界通用語，恨它……
有時(shí)，老師叫我們寫一篇作文。剛開始的時(shí)候，我對英語語法中的句型、時(shí)態(tài)一竅不通。所以，我是以中文的形式寫的。寫完給媽媽或老師看的時(shí)候，她們總是把我寫的作文改得“體無完膚”�？傊�，大部分是改語法。氣死人啦！
有一次，一個(gè)同學(xué)問我?guī)椎罃?shù)學(xué)題，她問我：“你能教我嗎？”我答應(yīng)了。教著教著，慘啦！有個(gè)單詞“split”不知道用英語怎么說，我只好跳過去，拐個(gè)彎問她：“懂了嗎？”她說：“沒有�！比缓�，她又說：“把答案給我好了！”“可是……”唉！真是啞巴吃黃連——有苦說不出呀！最后，我將答案告訴了她。心想：“哼！居然錯(cuò)過了一個(gè)練英語的好機(jī)會！我就不信我過不了這個(gè)語言關(guān)！”
還有，剛開始寫作業(yè)的時(shí)候，幾乎每個(gè)單詞都要查字典。例如“answer、becaues”等常用的單詞還要查。當(dāng)我問老師或同學(xué)，他們用英語給我解釋時(shí)，我還是似懂非懂。所以，還得查字典。真氣人！還有的時(shí)候，在和同學(xué)交談時(shí)，總是不能自如表達(dá)意思。
經(jīng)過幾個(gè)月的努力，我現(xiàn)在不管是在聽課、說話還是寫作文都比以前好多了。聽課時(shí)明白多了，自己寫的作文被老師改得少多了，查字典的次數(shù)也少多了，跟同學(xué)交談時(shí)也自如多了。
我想英語并不是我逾越不過的大山，只要我學(xué)英語時(shí)多說、多聽、多寫、多問，我就一定能“降服”English！

China has launched a national campaign "Eat up All on the Plates" . for the leftovers in restaurants across the country are almost enough to feed 200 million people annually according to reports.
It is a tradition for most people in China to entertain their quests with more than enough food believing that they have not satisfied their guests if there's no food left on the table which they think is a good way to show their hospitality.
They think they will be looked down upon if they don't do that.
The "Eat Up All on the Plates" campaign is intended to reduce the waste and raise people's awareness.
As middle school students we should do our bit to say "No" to food waste and try to develop the habit of never ordering or cooking more than what we need so as to save our limited food resources on which we depend for a better life.
