　　How I Spent My Summer Vacation

　　I spent this summer vacation in quite a different way.

　　I used to run about every day in previous summer vacations,this summer vacation I simply could not afford to do so.

　　I would soon be in the last year of my high-school education would after graduation be up against the college entrance examinations.

　　Though those examinations were still a year away, I had to start early to make myself well prepared by reviewing all those things I had learned at school this summer vacation was the ideal time for me to do this.

　　At first I was rather dismayed at the thought of this,8ttt8.

　　comlater I thought it was better this way because by working hard this summer I could count on endless happy summers to come.

　　With this in mind I then set to work like anything and occasionally went out for a change or did some physical.

　　I was not at all bored by this kind of life, for I was sustained by a hope.

That’s why I have no problem communicating with Americans or others by speaking English. In my spare time, I like to do anything relating to English such as listening to English songs, watching English movies or TV programs, or even attending the activities held by some english clubs or institutes. I used to go abroad for a short- term English study. During that time, I learned a lot of daily life English and saw a lot of different things. I think language is very interesting. I could express one substance by using different sounds. So I wish I could study and read more English literatures and enlarge my knowledge.

　　英語時間又到了，我戀戀不舍地放下手中的童話書，整理下英語作業(yè)，又該去見Jenny老師了。

　　Jenny衣著樸素，戴著一副眼鏡，臉上總是帶著一絲微笑，頭發(fā)束成一大綹，綁在腦后。

　　我們一進教室，Jenny就高興地說：“快來呀！快來呀！今天我們有新游戲要玩�！�

　　我一聽，頓時興奮起來。

　　“請大家把英語書和單詞聽寫本收起來�！盝enny高興地嚷嚷。

　　我好奇極了，這會是怎樣的游戲呢？

　　Jenny說：“今天我們玩的是——寫說猜，一個小朋友寫，一個小朋友說，一個小朋友猜。說的必須要用英語哦。”

　　Jenny把Ukey叫了上去，背對黑板面朝我們站著。老師在她背后寫了個“Monkey”。

　　有個小朋友大聲說：“Itlovebanana!"

　　馬上把Ukey點醒了。她馬上說：“我知道！Monkey！”

　　游戲繼續(xù)進行，我們都躍躍欲試，每個人都上去玩了一把。

　　回到家，沒玩過癮的我拉著爸爸媽媽又玩起了這個游戲，我成功了好幾次，高興極了。

　　Jenny老師總是能給我們帶來學習的快樂。想起她上次教我們玩的.“頂針接龍”，我們?yōu)榱粟A得接龍的勝利，使勁地背了許多的單詞。真是用心良苦啊。

　　Jenny又很嚴肅，尤其注意課堂紀律。如果有哪個小朋友大聲喊叫，她就罰我們不停地抄單詞。

　　Jenny也很疼我們，我們上課答對了問題，她就獎勵我們糖果、巧克力。我們每節(jié)課嘴里都是甜甜的。

　　我們總是在不經(jīng)意中學會了很多英語單詞，不知不覺中，我的英語成績已經(jīng)很好了，在學校我總是能很輕松地拿到班上的第一名。

　　說起來，Jenny真是個很好的英語老師呢!

Although he goes to another city for college, he calls me frequently and asks my life and study and tells me to care more about our parents. When he gets holidays, he often comes home to see us, and that makes my parents happy. Every time he comes back, my mother cooks delicious dishes for him. 　　Nevertheless, every coin has two sides. Some people are against the idea on the basis of the hatred towards loneliness. Because living alone may reduce the connection with parents and friends, simplify the social life and increase the feeling of loneliness. Once accustomed to it, people will be easier to feel hopeless and helpless. In addition, living alone seems to decrease the standards of life, rooms will be messed up due to lack of cleaning.
