My mother pointed to the globe and told me where the mountain is, where the sea is, where the South Pole is, where the North Pole is, where China is, and where my hometown is... The more I listen, the more interesting. Oh, what a nice birthday present!

For fear of getting up late the next morning, I put three alarm clocks near my bed.
