　　then they locked the door and went out with the letter. the boy was lying on his back, thinking how to run away. suddenly he found a bottle in the corner. he had a good idea. finishing writing, he put what he had written into the bottle and covered the mouth with a lid.

　　then he threw the bottle onto the path through the window, and lay again and waited. the next day a passer-by picked up the bottle and the boy was saved.

　　At the age of eight, I had a frightful experience. My uncle and I were swimming in a river with a life buoy. I said to my uncle that I wanted to swim to the middle of the river alone.

　　I said it would be safe because I had a life buoy. At first my uncle didn’t agree. I pretended to cry. He had nothing to do but let me swim alone. When I was near the middle of the river, the life buoy leaked.

　　I began to sink. I struggled to keep my head above the water. But what I did was of no use. I was forced to drink a lot of water. I thought I was going to be drowned.

　　It was at that CRItical moment that my uncle swam over and rescued me. I didn’t dare to swim alone after that experience.

　　事情是這樣的：周老師前幾天就已經(jīng)讓我們預(yù)習(xí)書本第49頁了。于是，我來到家后拼命地度這些不會讀的單詞，總算在今天的`這節(jié)課上起到了一點(diǎn)作用。

　　由于周老師上課的時(shí)候用電腦上，所以不用鼠標(biāo)點(diǎn)擊是不會出現(xiàn)下一個(gè)畫面的。今天上英語課的時(shí)，我看見周老師一次次點(diǎn)擊鼠標(biāo)，可是還是沒有出現(xiàn)我昨天預(yù)習(xí)的地方，我開始有些著急了，當(dāng)出現(xiàn)的地方，我一拍腦門，想：糟了，全忘光了。只知道沙發(fā)和餐桌怎么讀，唉，算了，能有幾個(gè)是幾個(gè)吧。我沒勁的嘆了一口氣，舉起了手。

　　很快，我發(fā)現(xiàn)除了沙發(fā)、冰箱會讀以外，大家一個(gè)單詞也不認(rèn)識！我越來越興奮，口中不斷叫著“me me !”當(dāng)周老師正要把餐桌的單詞讀出來時(shí)，我把聲音提高了二十分貝，叫了一聲“table”，然后就發(fā)現(xiàn)大家都投來了羨慕的眼光，這讓我心里樂極了。突然，電視機(jī)上變出了一個(gè)藍(lán)色的長方形，周老師讓我們猜猜。我看著這個(gè)東西，心想：有什么東西會這么高呢？對了，肯定是冰箱嘛。我又舉起了手，老師讓我回答，我用英語說了一聲："fridge”結(jié)果一看，果真是冰箱，這又讓我神氣十足……

　　下課鈴聲響了，可我心想：只要回家認(rèn)真預(yù)習(xí)了，明天老師講的時(shí)候就一定會派上用場的，語文、數(shù)學(xué)、科學(xué)都一樣。
