　　China's Great Wall is known to the world as one of the seven great wonders of the world. It is located in North China. It is over 6000 kilometres in length and is 25 feet high in average. The ancient people started to built the wall in the 7th Century BC with earth,brick and stone, and joined it in the Qin Dynasty. The Great Wall was built in ancient China to keep out invaders, however, it is now regared as one of the most important tourist spots in our country or even in the whole world. Every year, it is visited by thousands of people from all over the world.

　　One can surely achieve something as long as he or she has great confidence in themselves. and it will help us greatly in both our life and work. confidence will lead to a better probability of success when you are working on something either important or not.

　　However it would be a disaster if one lose's his or her confidence in themselves which will have a bad impact on what you are doing and finally you will lose your self in life.

　　To build up great confidence one has to believe in himself or herself whatever they are doing and more importantly to foster the capability by learning more relevant knowledge and putting it into practice.

　　我們班有一個幽默的老師，對了，老師姓張，個子不高，一頭烏黑的頭發(fā)，大大的眼鏡上戴著一副小眼鏡，還有一張能說會道的嘴巴。用兩個字形容漂亮，用四個字來說非常幽默。

　　為什么說她幽默呢？有件事至今讓我難以忘懷。有一次星期天，我跟爸爸媽媽去溧水采草莓，因為路上堵車，我們很晚才回到家。第二天上午上英語課時，我在課上覺得眼皮有千斤重，老是向下匯聚。老師讓我回答問題，我支支吾吾想了半天也沒回答上來，老師皺著眉頭，嚴厲的望著我，慢慢地走到我跟前，突然手里變出了黑板擦，以迅雷不及掩耳之勢“啪”的一拍，白色的粉筆灰落在我的臉頰上，我就像戲劇里的`小丑一樣，教室里都安靜了下來，沉寂片刻后突然爆發(fā)出雷鳴般的嘲笑聲，我的臉唰的一下紅到了脖子根，老師隨即沒收了我的一支最喜歡的鋼筆，我當即清醒了，絲毫不敢再開小差了，全神貫注，一絲不茍的聽起課來。過了片刻，張老師又叫我起來回答：“What’syouname？”，我站起來信心十足的大聲說“MynameisLiWanYing，”“That’sOK”，老師眼里露出滿意的目光，像電視里的主持人一樣大聲宣布：“恭喜你，答對了！”邊說老師邊緩緩走到我的面前，把我的鋼筆又還給了我，語重心長的說：“好好聽課喲！”，我使勁點了點頭。

In the evening, she used to watch TV with her family, but now she must go to bed early, because she has to get up early in the morning to read the text books.
