Different people like different lifestyles. 上個(gè)星期六的下午，我參加了“星星火炬英語(yǔ)風(fēng)采大賽浙江選拔賽”。為了這次比賽，我做了精心的準(zhǔn)備，背了《伊索寓言》中的《狐貍與猴子》這個(gè)故事，還有一段簡(jiǎn)短的自我介紹，賽前我自己覺(jué)得信心滿(mǎn)滿(mǎn)。
到了賽場(chǎng)以后我發(fā)現(xiàn)這里早就熱鬧非凡：有的正閑庭散步；有的正在排練自己的`作品；有的已經(jīng)結(jié)束比賽，正在嬉鬧玩耍。在足足等待了兩個(gè)小時(shí)以后終于輪到我參加的賽次了。
參賽同學(xué)依次排隊(duì)入場(chǎng)坐下后，看到前排的眾多評(píng)委考官，我的心情一下子開(kāi)始緊張起來(lái)，只感覺(jué)自己的心像小兔子一樣“撲通撲通”狂跳不已，手掌心里也冒出汗來(lái)�？吹接械倪x手神態(tài)自若，對(duì)答如流；有的選手吞吞吐吐，神情迷茫；我忐忑不安的緊張心情到了極點(diǎn)，真想逃離考場(chǎng)不參加比賽了。當(dāng)耳邊聽(tīng)到考官喊：“K-738選手請(qǐng)上場(chǎng)！”我硬著頭皮走上了賽場(chǎng)。剛站在臺(tái)上那一刻，我都不知所措。當(dāng)開(kāi)始自我介紹以后，我緊張的情緒才開(kāi)始慢慢放松下來(lái)，故事也一氣呵成地講完了，考官的問(wèn)答也順利過(guò)關(guān)，但在第一次遇到看圖說(shuō)話的題目還是有些困難�；氐阶约旱淖�，還感覺(jué)在夢(mèng)境一般。
回到家里，我看了媽媽給我錄的錄像，這才知道由于自己第一次參加這樣的大賽，姿態(tài)僵硬，兩只手居然像鳥(niǎo)兒的翅膀一樣一直張著，這種姿態(tài)一直保持到比賽結(jié)束，可以看出我的緊張程度。
通過(guò)這次難忘的比賽經(jīng)歷，我知道許多事并沒(méi)有想像中的那么簡(jiǎn)單，需要我不斷地學(xué)習(xí)和鍛煉。不管怎樣，我克服了緊張，勇敢地站在臺(tái)上展示了自己的“風(fēng)采”，沒(méi)有做逃兵。

每當(dāng)我們上英語(yǔ)課的時(shí)候，老師就會(huì)教授我們豐富的知識(shí)。我越來(lái)越喜歡英語(yǔ)了，因?yàn)樵谟⒄Z(yǔ)學(xué)習(xí)中我找到了許多樂(lè)趣。首先是記單詞的'樂(lè)趣。以前我最痛恨記單詞，那么多單詞像一鍋粥似的攪在一塊兒，根本分不清誰(shuí)是誰(shuí)。有時(shí)是和漢語(yǔ)拼音混淆在一起；有時(shí)是單詞之間互相混淆，把這個(gè)單詞記成另一個(gè)單詞；更糟糕的是，我根本不知道自己在拼什么�？墒�，自從我學(xué)習(xí)了音標(biāo)后，我就發(fā)現(xiàn)了許多記單詞的竅門(mén)，比如，許多發(fā)音是由固定單詞拼寫(xiě)而成的。比如ph發(fā)[f]的音，C常發(fā)[k]的音。有了學(xué)習(xí)方法，我覺(jué)得英語(yǔ)學(xué)習(xí)輕松又有趣。它不僅使我多學(xué)了一門(mén)語(yǔ)言，更為我開(kāi)啟了一扇通往異域文化的大門(mén)。
