I used to think Beijing must be a grand and special city, given that it was the capital of China, and lots of events I have heard took place there. But soon after I got off the plane, I knew all was but my illusion. If I had to use one wordto describe it, nothing but “grey” will fulfil the task. As far as your eyes could see, all was covered in dust and haunted by air pollution.
Though it was the first time I had been to the North part of China, I was still surprised by the sharp contrast between the South and North. It wasn't hearsay.

還記得那天是周三，早上我看了一下課程表，發(fā)現(xiàn)今天沒有英語課，我就沒有帶英語書。
等我到了學校，問了一下同學，今天有沒有英語課，他們都說有。這會兒我被嚇壞了。沒帶英語書可是要抄寫的！我嘆了一口氣。現(xiàn)在我的腦海中只有5個字——-不上英語課。
這上午過得真快，每次都是我忘記帶什么書的時候，時間過得飛快！
該來的，總是要來的。
中午吃完飯，我們開始排練舞蹈。排練的時候，我的腦中似乎只有舞蹈的動作，沒有英語課這三個字�！啪毩艘粫䞍壕徒Y束了，排練舞蹈的時間是20分鐘，也就是半節(jié)課的時間。當我們女生一進門的時候，所有人的步伐變得很慢，跟個機器人似的。鄧老師看見了，讓我們快點上樓。我們只有上樓去上英語課了。當我來到教室里的.時候，發(fā)現(xiàn)同學們正在認認真真的聽老師講英語書呢！我的心就像貓見了老鼠似的害怕。突然老師說了一句話：“大家把考試卷子拿出來�！边@個時候我真想跳三尺高。當我準備拿卷子的時候，很吃驚，我竟然沒有帶英語考試卷。老師又多給我留了一樣作業(yè)——-“抄寫”。
我今天怎么這么倒霉呢！今天我過得真是“慘不忍睹”��！真希望我能早點和今天說“再見”。

Yesterday evening, Mother took me to McDonald＇s for dinner. I was excited, for this was the first time I went there. Before I ate, the smell of the tasty food made my mouth watering. I had ordered a hamburger, a bag of chips, fried chicken and a cup of coffee. I quite enjoyed them, and we stayed there for nearly an hour. I really have had a good time, and hope to go there again.
