　　I prefer to sponsor a girl at age 9 or 10 living in a remote mountain village in Liaoning Province， my home province。 This girl should be a person who shows potentials for development yet cannot further her school education because of family poverty or other misfortunes。

　　As for my plan， I intend to offer per month 150 yuan to cover the girl’s living and school expenses until she graduates from high school。 If she passes the university entrance examination， I will pay her four years’ tuition fee。

　　我離開農(nóng)場以后，婉老師也隨著高升的丈夫到了省城，超常和孤傲的美麗注定了她會有一段轟轟烈烈不同凡響的經(jīng)歷，她竟然放著好好的.官太太不做，跟一個小她十多歲的男人私奔了，最讓人不能接受的是，那男人除了一張漂亮的臉蛋和滿嘴的油腔滑調(diào)以外一無是處，而且整整比她矮了一個頭，所有人都說婉老師鬼迷心竅了，我想她是太想證明自己太想給自己找到一個舞臺，女兒以死相逼也沒能讓她回心轉(zhuǎn)意，結(jié)果應(yīng)了那句老話：”自古紅顏多薄命“，沒過多久，小男人因詐騙被判入獄，婉老師卻沒了退路，兒女拒絕認(rèn)她，老公對她恨之入骨，那一刻，她要面對的不只是傷痛和悔恨，而是整個世界的垮塌和陷落，于是，她消失了，從那以后，農(nóng)場的人再也沒有看見過她。

　　常常會想起美麗如畫中人的婉老師，好想跟她說一聲：安好！

　　Nothing ventured, nothing gained. Some people take the view that sometimes in life we have to take chances in order to make progress. I admire such people. It certainly takes guts to take risks. Maybe it＇s because of my upbringing, but I am the type who usually plays it safe.

　　People like me prefer the saying, "A bird in the hand is worth two in the bush." Conservative as it may be, it keeps me out of trouble. I must confess, however, that leading such a moderate life may, at times, be boring. Admittedly, my life is not half as colorful or exciting as other people＇s but at least it gives me a sense of security.
