　　這時，我想起了媽媽的一句話：“不是所有的種子都必須要長成參天大樹，但如果不努力，就不能破土而出，更不會長成參天大樹�！庇谑�，我徑直走向了物業(yè)的大門，報了名。我回到家以后和媽媽說明了情況，媽媽二話不說，幫我到圖文店里打印了資料，我拿起了資料，如饑似渴地讀了起來，因?yàn)楸荣惖臅r候是要脫稿的，所以我一有時間就拿出來練習(xí)。

　　比賽那天，我面帶微笑的`對著一些外國人。我異常緊張，但又想：養(yǎng)兵千日用兵一時。我之前的努力不就是為了這一刻嗎？我絕對不能在這個關(guān)節(jié)點(diǎn)上掉鏈子。于是，我發(fā)揮超常。但是我的對手都是大人，所以我的成績一落千丈。

　　雖然這次我沒有得到名次，但是它讓我明白了一個道理：只有努力才是通向成功的捷徑。
