　　暑假里，英語(yǔ)興趣課開班的時(shí)候，在培訓(xùn)中心的走廊上，我第一次見到了韓老師。圓圓的臉、大大的眼睛、長(zhǎng)長(zhǎng)的馬尾辮，文文靜靜的樣子。媽媽說(shuō)，這就是我的英語(yǔ)老師。我心想，這么文靜的小姑娘怎么能讓我對(duì)英語(yǔ)有興趣呢？

　　可是，真正到了課堂上，我才發(fā)現(xiàn)她的課堂風(fēng)格真的超出了我的想象。韓老師一進(jìn)門，就放開了聲音，熱情大方地介紹了自己，又逐一認(rèn)識(shí)大家，她圓圓的臉始終都是滿滿的笑容，氣氛就這樣被帶動(dòng)起來(lái)了。她告訴我們，英語(yǔ)有一種神奇的韻律，能讓我們不斷地想去探知和體會(huì)。就像一個(gè)黑洞，“咻”的一下就能把我們吸進(jìn)去。真的嗎？說(shuō)得我好向往��！

　　暑假班很快結(jié)束了，我真期待秋季班能快點(diǎn)開課。韓老師在我的`心中，再也不是那個(gè)文靜的小姑娘了。她上課的帶動(dòng)力與爆發(fā)力，不僅為我們開啟了英語(yǔ)學(xué)習(xí)的另一扇窗，而且吸引我們自己去探索窗外更寬廣的英語(yǔ)世界。

He always encourages us to speak up and tells us “Don’t be shy, let’s try.” After a semester, almost all the learners in our class are interested in English although they don’t like English at the start. With Mr. Liu’s help, many learners are making fast progress in their English learning. Mr. Liu is the best teacher in my mind.

　　Mid-Autumn Festival

　　The 15th day of the 8th lunar month

　　The joyous Mid-Autumn Festival was celebrated on the fifteenth day of the eighth moon, around the time of the autumn equinox（秋分）. Many referred to it simply as the "Fifteenth of the Eighth Moon".

　　This day was also considered as a harvest festival since fruits, vegetables and grain had been harvested by this time and food was abundant. Food offerings were placed on an altar set up in the courtyard. Apples, pears, peaches, grapes, pomegranates（石榴）, melons, oranges and pomelos（柚子） might be seen. Special foods for the festival included moon cakes, cooked taro（芋頭）and water caltrope（菱角）, a type of water chestnut resembling black buffalo horns. Some people insisted that cooked taro be included because at the time of creation, taro was the first food discovered at night in the moonlight. Of all these foods, it could not be omitted from the Mid-Autumn Festival.

　　The round moon cakes, measuring about three inches in diameter and one and a half inches in thickness, resembled Western fruitcakes in taste and consistency. These cakes were made with melon seeds（西瓜子）, lotus seeds（蓮籽）, almonds（杏仁）, minced meats, bean paste, orange peels and lard（豬油）. A golden yolk（蛋黃） from a salted duck egg was placed at the center of each cake, and the golden brown crust was decorated with symbols of the festival. Traditionally, thirteen moon cakes were piled in a pyramid to symbolize the thirteen moons of a "complete year," that is, twelve moons plus one intercalary（閏月的） moon.

　　The Mid-Autumn Festival is a traditional festivity for both the Han and minority nationalities. The custom of worshipping the moon can be traced back as far as the ancient Xia and Shang Dynasties (20xx B.C.-1066 B.C.). In the Zhou Dynasty(1066 B.C.-221 B.C.), people hold ceremonies to greet winter and worship the moon whenever the Mid-Autumn Festival sets in. It becomes very prevalent in the Tang Dynasty(618-907 A.D.) that people enjoy and worship the full moon. In the Southern Song Dynasty (1127-1279 A.D.), however, people send round moon cakes to their relatives as gifts in expression of their best wishes of family reunion. When it becomes dark, they look up at the full silver moon or go sightseeing on lakes to celebrate the festival. Since the Ming (1368-1644 A.D. ) and Qing Dynasties (1644-1911A.D.), the custom of Mid-Autumn Festival celebration becomes unprecedented popular. Together with the celebration there appear some special customs in different parts of the country, such as burning incense（熏香）, planting Mid-Autumn trees, lighting lanterns on towers and fire dragon dances. However, the custom of playing under the moon is not so popular as it used to be nowadays, but it is not less popular to enjoy the bright silver moon. Whenever the festival sets in, people will look up at the full silver moon, drinking wine to celebrate their happy life or thinking of their relatives and friends far from home, and extending all of their best wishes to them.

　　第一節(jié)的`英語(yǔ)課上，MissWang就給我們來(lái)個(gè)“下馬威”，向來(lái)對(duì)英語(yǔ)抱有極大信心的我今天也有點(diǎn)緊張，我們組的其他成員也都有點(diǎn)緊張。我安慰一直對(duì)英語(yǔ)沒(méi)有信心的同桌說(shuō)：“沒(méi)關(guān)系，我們已經(jīng)盡力了�！鄙頌榻M長(zhǎng)，我很高興同桌在聽說(shuō)星期四有英語(yǔ)聽寫時(shí)，積極找我補(bǔ)習(xí)英語(yǔ)。同桌很聰明，也很自覺(jué)，她雖然沒(méi)有上英語(yǔ)輔導(dǎo)班，但她已經(jīng)利用自己全部課余時(shí)間來(lái)補(bǔ)習(xí)英語(yǔ)了。

　　盼望著，盼望著，老師終于發(fā)聽寫本了！老師只報(bào)了五個(gè)單詞，同學(xué)們都格外認(rèn)真，教室里只聽見同學(xué)們“沙沙”的寫字聲。聽寫完之后，老師讓同桌之間互換聽寫本進(jìn)行批改。

　　我拿到同桌的聽寫本之后大略地看了一下，耶！同桌已經(jīng)攻破翻譯這道坎了，我又翻開書，一個(gè)字母一個(gè)字母地校對(duì)，完全正確，太棒了！我在心里小小地為同桌慶祝了一下。再看看我的聽寫情況，一個(gè)“100”已經(jīng)在我的本子上沖我笑了。我們組4個(gè)人，有3個(gè)人都是“100”。

　　這次聽寫使我明白了：沒(méi)有過(guò)不去的坎，只有不努力的人。希望我們組所有人能一直這樣把學(xué)習(xí)當(dāng)成一種樂(lè)趣。
