英語(yǔ)作文600字 篇1
Don’t Lose Your Courage
Never shall I forget the first English lesson given by Miss Liu. On that day, when she entered the classroom, we found that she was a young and beautiful lady with a big smile on her face. Then she introduced herself saying that we should call her Miss Liu instead of Teacher Liu, a moment later, she let all of us go to the blackboard and say something about ourselves in English in turn. When it was my turn, I felt so shy and fearful that I didn’t dare to say a word before the class. She came up to me and said kindly, Don’t be afraid. I believe you can do it. Come and have a try. My face turned red when I heard that. At last, I went to the blackboard and was able to do it quite well. She praised for what I had done. Up to now, I can still remember her words in the first English lesson: Practice makes perfect. Don’t lose your courage when you meet with difficulties. Try on and on until you succeed.

Hi! Peter,
I’m glad to know you are having a good time in Chengdu.
TheSpring Festival is the most important festival in China. It is a custom to give lucky money to children. I get lucky money every year. I will put most of it in the bank, and spend the rest on some books. This year is no exception(也不例外) and I also got lucky money. With it, I bought some school things for several poor students in Ningxia, hoping the things can bring some happiness to them.
For you, I think it’s a good idea to buy a gift with the lucky money for your hostfamily before you leave China. You can also buy some Chinese gifts for your parents and friends in England. Or, just keep it as good memories.
I hope what I said can help you.
Yours,
Li Hua
英語(yǔ)作文600字 篇3
Xiao Ming and his children are playing near the water station on Sunday.
"Clatter," an old woman in slippers came and hit a bucket of water, but because he did not turn off the faucet, the water inside the faucet dripped and missed.
Xiao gang saw, hurried far, afraid of being mistaken for being mistaken for a good faucet. Xiao Mei saw it, moved without moving, and talked about the small ring next to it. As we saw it, the palms were plucked. Xiao Ming came over and said, "save water!" Everyone listened, ashamed and bowed his head. He said with one voice: "we must save water!"
On Monday, the children said to the teacher about this, and the teacher said to the children, "children, we must learn from Xiao Ming in the future." Everyone recognized his mistake and broke into applause. Xiao Ming said to everyone, "save water and start with us!" "Uproar" is another applause.
英語(yǔ)作文600字 篇4
From the picture we can see a family of three walking on a long red carpet. The son , well dressed, waves proudly in the middle while the father behind bends forward to hold the jacket and the mother in front rolls out the carpet, sweating.
It shows a common phenomenon nowadays that children are the focus of families, shouldering the hope of their parents. Parents arrange everything for their children and spare no effort to pave the way for their success. As a consequence, children become so reliant on their parents that they have no independent thought or creative ideas.
Such a situation is of great concern. In my opinion, overprotection and too much care are extremely bad for children’s development. Instead of doing everything for them, parents should encourage their children to overcome difficulties and inspire them to develop by themselves. Only in this way can they grow up to be independent and become truly successful.

The first day for me to go to high school, I felt so excited, because I came into the new stage of my life. The school asked the students to live in the dormitory, so I had to move out and left my parents. This was such a big challenge for me, because I never left home before. I needed to learn to be independent, what’s more, I also learned to get along with others. High school was like a little society for me and I handed the problems well. The other challenge was from study. I had to learn so many subjects and fought for my future college. I met difficulties and felt frustrated, but I told myself not to give up and I got over the difficulties. High school life is not easy, but we grow up quickly.
