　　Can money buy happiness

　　Nowadays, a lot of people in society think the more money they have the more happiness they will obtain. As a result they will try their best to get money, even without considering the law.But in my view, the greatest happiness lies in one’s satisfaction with one’s surroundings. So long as we can look at things with a happy heart, we can be happy. It has nothing to do with a mount of money we have. Therefore, people shouldn’t pay too much attention money we have.

　　On the contrary (相反地) what they should do is to put their money to good use and try to have an optimistic outlook all the time.

　　Air is all around us. Its around us as we walk and play. From the time we were born, air was around us on every side. When we sit down, it is around us. We live in air.

　　All living things need air. Living things cant live without air. We can go without food or water for a few days but we cant live for more than a few minutes without air. We take in air. When we are working or running, we need more air. When we are asleep, we need less air.

　　We live in air, but we can not see it.

　　We can only feel it. We can feel it when it is moving. Moving air is called wind. How can you make air move? Here is one way. Hold an open book in your hands in front of you. Close it quickly. What can you feel? What you feel is the air.

　　空氣

　　Sunset

　　Recently I was in a changable mood。 Many troubles were caused by my own random thoughts， How I longed to have a light heart and be in a serene mood。

　　After school on my way to the dormitory， I saw the sun tanging low above the horizon。 The sky was alive with long streaks fored and gold。 The sun， at the end of a day＇s journey， made the touds look like the Garden of Eden。 Charmed by the scene， I stood still on the path， conscious neither of time， nor space， nor people who paged by。 A feeling of happiness and admiration came over me。 I was lost in the beauty of nature。

　　It seemed a magic world， a world of colors--red， oran yellow， green and blue。 They shone， flashed and changed。Gradually everything was veiled by the purple fog。

　　I came to the lawn and saw the magic red ball flooding and dying the grass with a rosy color。 By and by the golden sunlight faded and fainted。 The rose tint vanished and the day cooled。 The sunlight was no more。 Dusk gathered thicker and thicker。

　　In my vision is an empty space of fields， so smooth and vast in the distance。 The sunset is not as exciting as sunrise， not so hot and warm at dusk as at noon。 Yet， it is so quiet and serene。 It can put up with everything。 You know， even the word "beautiful" is not enough to describe it。

　　Now I am at peace and in a happy mood。 I love sunset。

　　日落

　　近來，我的心情多變。許多煩惱都是由我的胡思亂想引起的。我多么渴望心里輕松，心情寧靜。

　　放學(xué)后，在回宿舍的路上，我看到大陽低掛在地平線上。天際上泛起一道道金色的晚霞，十分艷麗。勞累地旅行了一天的太陽，把云彩打扮得像伊甸園一。我被眼前的景色迷住了，我靜靜地站在小路上，忘記了時間、空間和過路的行人。一股幸福和敬佩的感覺油然而起。我沉浸在大自然的美妙之中。

　　這似乎是個魔幻世界，多彩斑斕——紅、橙、黃、綠、藍(lán)。色彩明亮、耀眼、多變。漸漸地一切都籠罩在紫色的`云霧之中。

　　我來到草坪，看到那奇妙的紅球把草坪浸染成一片玫瑰色。漸漸地，金色的陽光暗然消退，玫瑰色消失了，天氣變涼了。接著，陽光消失，暮色漸濃。

　　眼前一片空曠的田地是那么坦蕩、渺茫。日落不像日出那樣令人激動，暮時不像午時那么炙熱；然而它是那么寧靜，它能包容一切。你看，就連“美麗”這個詞也不足以形容它。

　　于是我的心平靜了，心情愉快了。我愛日落。

To my surprise, they didn’t follow my suggestions. Instead, they laughed at me, saying that I was too young and too naive.
