Last night when I came to my room, it was nowhere to be found. I will try to recover it as soon as possible. If I fail to find it, I will get a new book for you.

　　But I am afraid it can never take the place of the old one. Old books are like old friends. Once lost, they can never be replaced. They are connected with cherished associations which the new ones can never have. And for this irrecoverable loss, I am to blame. I was so careless with my things. This is a warning to me to be more careful in the future.

　　我一看驚呆了，仿佛站在我眼前的就是真正的圣誕老人。他與書上描述的圣誕老人很相似。又濃又白的長胡子，頭上戴著一頂高高的圣誕帽，挺著一個大肚子，穿著一件紅色大衣，腰上系著一根黑色腰帶，腳蹬一雙黑色的短靴。

　　我們按楊老師的要求：先跟他用英語“hello，how are you！”打了招呼。圣誕老人說：“thank you！ ”我們接著又唱起了圣誕歌曲。

　　圣誕老人笑瞇瞇地望著我們，從前到后，邊走邊給大家發(fā)著糖。我幸運地分到了一顆水蜜桃味的'棒棒糖，這是我最愛吃的口味。我們各自熱情地和圣誕老人握了手。當(dāng)糖全部分完時，我們又與圣誕老人來了一次大擁抱，教室里一片沸騰，同學(xué)們開心極了！有的拉住圣誕老人的胳膊；有的報著圣誕老人的腿；還有的爬在圣誕老人的背上……就連坐在旁邊的楊老師也笑得前俯后仰。
