　　People say that father’s love likes a mountain: heavy and silent. It’s heavy because he puts all his love to us and it’s silent because he does not know how to express. Faced his love, we accept it silently without saying a word to show our appreciation.

　　人們說父愛就像一座大山，沉重而安靜。它沉重是因為他把所有的愛都給了我們，它安靜是因為他不知道怎樣表達他的愛。面對他的愛，我們一句話也不說，只是默默地接受它以表達我們的感激之情。

　　Before I was going to senior school, my father had never said a word to show his love to me, so that I thought he did not love me very much and sometimes I was upset about it. However, when I left home for senior school, he called me frequently and just asked me some simple questions like: how’s your study and life? When do you come home? or something like that. Gradually, I realize that he misses me although he would never say it out. So this is father’s love, not so obvious but definitely deep.

　　看完了電影(雷鋒)，心潮難平。雷鋒那平凡而偉大的形象時常閃現(xiàn)在我的面前，我回到家里，正想寫下一點感想，隨手翻開報紙，只見上面刊登一則消息，內(nèi)容是講美國某軍校掀起學(xué)雷鋒熱，學(xué)員們爭著傳抄雷鋒的名言已蔚然成風(fēng)。讀后更加感慨萬端，這和一部分人提起雷鋒精神便發(fā)笑的現(xiàn)象形成鮮明的對照。值得人們深思。記得國內(nèi)曾經(jīng)有這樣的議論:“雷鋒精神是否過時了?”可是，沒有想到在國外，在資本主義國家里，竟會有人把雷鋒作為一個學(xué)習(xí)的榜樣，這就不能不令人感到驚訝了。

　　其實細(xì)細(xì)想來，倒也不足為奇。雷鋒精神雖是以共產(chǎn)主義思想為核心，他的行為雖無時無刻不是遵循著社會主義的道德規(guī)范，但這種道德品質(zhì)是所有正直的人應(yīng)具備的。也就是說，無論是社會主義國家，還是資本主義國家，只要是一個心地善良的人，他都會發(fā)揚互助友愛精神，做有益于他人的事。所以，那些美國士兵不管出于什么樣的動機，他們把雷鋒作為一個具有優(yōu)秀品質(zhì)的人來學(xué)習(xí)，是可以理解的。

　　雷鋒是我國在60年代樹立起來的一個優(yōu)秀榜樣。當(dāng)時國家尚處在困難時期，在他的艱苦奮斗、助人為樂和見義勇為的精神的鼓舞下，促進了良好的社會風(fēng)氣的形成。今天，在改革開放的潮流中，我們的社會雖然出現(xiàn)了不少新的事物、新的思潮，但不可否認(rèn)，也有一些諸如盲目追求享受、損人利己、見利忘義等不良風(fēng)氣在滋生。雷鋒精神正是抵制不良社會風(fēng)氣的“靈丹妙藥”，倘若人人發(fā)揚這種精神，社會風(fēng)氣定能向好的方面發(fā)展。

　　如果說，美國某軍校士兵能夠從雷鋒事跡中體會到生活的'勇氣、堅強的意志、忘我的學(xué)習(xí)精神，那么我們這些生活在雷鋒的祖國，生活在社會主義制度下的青年應(yīng)該體會得更深，學(xué)習(xí)得更好。雷鋒精神包含著助人為樂，但不僅僅是做善事。倘若僅僅是做善事，那些看破紅塵的和尚、虔誠的基督教徒也會做到，而他們這樣做的目的只是為了求得內(nèi)心的平靜。雷鋒則不然，他是以人民利益、國家利益、黨的事業(yè)為出發(fā)點的，還有什么比這個目的更崇高呢?學(xué)習(xí)雷鋒精神，就要把日常的行動和這遠大崇高的理想結(jié)合起來。在我們國家里，雷鋒不只是一個具有一般優(yōu)秀品質(zhì)的人，他的精神應(yīng)該還有更深的含義，因為它是構(gòu)成社會主義精神文明的有機部分，這也是雷鋒精神的永恒的價值所在。所以。我們不僅應(yīng)該學(xué)習(xí)雷鋒精神，而且要要新的改革開放的形勢中，發(fā)揚雷鋒精神。
