　　圣誕節(jié)

　　Christmas Day is the biggest festival in the western countries.It is on December 25,the birthday of Jesus Christ.Before the festival,every family will buy a Christmas tree,and put it in the middle of the living-room.And their houses look more soft and beautiful.

　　圣誕節(jié)是西方國家最盛大的節(jié)日.節(jié)日在12月25日,是耶穌基督的生日.節(jié)日前,每個家庭都要買一顆圣誕樹,放在起居室的中央,這樣他們家看起來又溫馨又漂亮.

　　On Christmas Eve,children always hang up their Christmas stockings and hope Father Christmas will come to put presents in them.In fact,their parents put the presents in their stockings.

　　在平安夜,孩子們總是把圣誕襪掛起來,希望圣誕老人會把禮物放到里面,實際上把禮物放到襪里面的是他們的父母.

　　How interesting it is!On Christmas Day,people say "Merry Christmas" to each other.

　　你說有趣不有趣!在圣誕節(jié)那天,人們互相祝賀“圣誕快樂”.

　　new year's day is one of important days for many people in the word during the year.most people spend the new year'sday in hotels.january 1st is considered as the new year's day.most companies,shops,school,and government offices are closed during that time.people prepare for new year's dayfrom late december.firt,people spend a few days to clean their houses completely.some families then put up some new painting from november to be sent in january.the new year's meal is also prepared from the end of december.during the new year's day,people usually do not cook and relax at home. on new year's eve,it is common to have a bag dinner with family members or friends at home or in hotels and hear bells which informs us of the coming new year.on new year's day,people fiest greet each other. some people wear new coats and visit temples to pray for happiness and health theoughout the new year.children are busy with getting the gifts from their parents and relatives.

　　Christmas is the most

important festival in the western world. It falls on December 25th. When my mother and I stayed in America, we were invited by one of my mother‘s friends to have Christmas with an American family. We bought some presents for our American friends on our way to their house. 　　They had prepared different kinds of gifts for their family and guests when we got to their house, such as Christmas candles, cakes, cards, little toys, biscuits and so on. A Christmas tree was placed in the comer of the brilliant hall. How beautiful it was! We were impressed by these. We had a big meal. After dinner, they told us some interesting stories about Christmas. We learned that Christmas had something to do with God. We went to bed at midnight. Though we knew the Santa Claus was not true, we were still waiting for the Santa Claus with white beard to bring us presents.And we received many beautiful presents the next morning.

　　This Christmas was really unforgettable. Not only did I have a good time, but also I knew something about foreign culture.

　　12月25日的圣誕節(jié)是西方國家最重要的節(jié)日。

　　我和媽媽在美國的時候，曾應(yīng)媽媽的一位朋友邀請，去一個美國家庭過圣誕節(jié)。

　　在去他家的途中，我們?yōu)槊绹笥奄I了一些禮物。

　　我們到時，他們已為家人及客人們準備了各種各樣的禮物，有圣誕蠟燭、蛋糕、卡片、小玩具和餅干等。

　　圣誕樹放在燈火通明的客廳的一角，實在是太莢了。

　　這一切給我們留下了深刻的印象。

　　我們吃了一頓大餐。

　　飯后，他們給我們講了一些圣誕節(jié)的故事，我們知道了圣誕節(jié)與上帝有關(guān)。

　　我們午夜時分才上床睡覺。

　　盡管我們知道圣誕老人不是真的，但還是等待著白胡子的圣誕老人為我們送來禮物。

　　第二天早晨我們收到了許多漂亮的禮物。
