But most importantly, he is a kind man. He and his wife help a lot of people. He doesn’t want to leave the money in the bank or for his family. He gives a lot of money for the poor or someone need money. He is friendly to other people. So someone maybe scold him but he doesn’t angry with them.

　　I’d like to be a person like him, not friendless or malicious.It’s a good charter, so I can happy everyday and make other people happy. Oh of course, I would like to be helpful, too!

　　Bill Gates is really a good person. We can study a lot of things of him.

　　You know my holiday life was busy but wonderful.I got up at 7:00 every day.I did my homework in the morning so that I could finish my homework on time.I sometimes went shopping with my mother in the afternoon.But most of the time I did sports in the afternoon,such as,swimming,playing football,playing table tennins,going out for a walk and so on.I also went to Beidaihe with my parents and we spent three days there.I visited my grandparents and stayed there for a week.I read books,went to the movies,surfed the internet ,went to the library and visited my friends.I also helped my parents do the housework.What's more,I went to a tennis couse and learnt how to play tennis.So my summer holiday life was very intesting.

　　One stormy autumn night when my grandnephewRoger was about twenty months old I wrapped himin a blanket and carried him down to the beach inthe rainy darkness. Out there, just at the edgewhere we couldn't see big waves were thundering in, dimly seen white shapes that boomed and shouted and threw great handfuls of froth at us. Together we laughed for pure joy-he a baby meeting for the first time the wild tumult ofoceanus, I wish the salt of half a lifetime of sea love in me. But I think we felt the same spine-tingling response to the vast, roaring ocean and the wild night around us.

　　一個暴風驟雨的秋夜，我用毛毯把侄孫羅杰裹好，帶著他冒雨在黑暗里穿行，徑直走到海灘邊，當時他只有大約20個月大。在那里，在我們無法看見海的邊緣，巨浪雷鳴般呼嘯而來，依稀可見白色形狀的浪花翻騰著、吼叫著，朝我們拋來大把大把的泡沫。我們一起大笑，因為純粹的快樂而放聲歡笑-嬰兒的他第一次見到了海洋之神異常激動的神態(tài)，我多么希望我能擁有大海一半的愛的情懷。但我想，面對遼闊咆哮的大海還有周圍狂野的黑夜，我們都感受到了同樣的興奮。

　　A night or two later the storm had blown itself out and I took Roger again to the beach, thistime to carry him along the water's edge, piercing the darkness with the yellow cone of ourflashlight.Although there was no rain the night was again noisy with breaking waves and theinsistent wind.It was clearly a time and place where great elemental things prevailed.

But the crabs are chiefly nocturnal, and when not roaming the nightbeaches they dig little pits near the surf line where they hide, seemingly watching and waitingfor what the sea may bring them. For me the sight of these small living creatures, solitary andfragile against the brute force of the sea, had moving philosophic overtones, and I do notpretend that Roger and I reacted with similar emotions. But it was good to see his infantacceptance of a world of elemental things, fearing neither the song of the wind nor thedarkness nor the roaring surf, entering with baby excitement into the search for a " ghost."

　　It was hardly a conventional way to entertain one so young, I suppose, but now, with Rogera little past his fourth birthday, we are continuing that sharing of adventures in the world ofnature that we began in his babyhood, and I think the results are good. The sharing includesnature in storm as well as calm, by night as well as day, and is based on having fun togetherrather than on teaching.

In 1972, the president Nixon had passed the law and agreed that the father’s day is on June the third Sunday. From this year, the world started to celebrate father’s day.

　　On this special day, the children usually dedicate flowers to their fathers. The red roses to those who still alive, while the white ones to the fallings. Fathers always are considered being the central of the whole family. Without father in the family, home may feel insecure. The father always fights for the family and support the family. On this day, we can do something for our fathers. For instance, we can make a breakfast for them, or buy them a nice tie. We should spend more time with our father, show our love to them.
