　　曾小雨當(dāng)年就讀的中新雙語學(xué)校數(shù)學(xué)老師曾經(jīng)說過：“曾小雨是一個(gè)萬里挑一的好學(xué)生，她每一次做的數(shù)學(xué)題都可以作為標(biāo)準(zhǔn)答案。她是各科成績都好，教這樣的孩子又省心又有成就感。”

　　因?yàn)閷W(xué)得非常好，曾小雨看上去要比一般人都輕松、快樂、自由，知識(shí)面也廣。小學(xué)三四年級時(shí)，她就讀完了全套中文版《哈利波特》，其它的世界名著更是讀了不少。小學(xué)畢業(yè)之前就把全套英文版《哈利波特》讀完了。

　　剛上初中時(shí)，小雨提出免修英語，因?yàn)樗�和媽媽都覺得已經(jīng)學(xué)會(huì)了的知識(shí)沒有必要再學(xué)一遍，她有能力不用上初中英語課就達(dá)到與之相當(dāng)?shù)乃�平。到了高中，她再次向英語老師提出免修英語的要求，英語老師覺得可笑，笑她無知自大，老師還沒有遇到過不用上英語課就把英語學(xué)好的孩子。小雨給老師用英文寫了一封信，說明她不用上英語課的理由，老師看后連連稱贊，說她教了一輩子英語，都沒見過英語句子如此連貫、語法措詞如此準(zhǔn)確的學(xué)生，于是就允許她在英語課上閱讀課外英文、自學(xué)雅思英語。

　　很多人都說這樣的孩子實(shí)在是可遇不可求，但有的家長即使遇到了也未必能培養(yǎng)出這么出色的孩子。小雨爸媽對孩子的教育非常用心。

　　曾小雨的爸爸在北京工作，媽媽在濰坊的醫(yī)院工作，平時(shí)很忙，但是不論多忙，兩口子都沒有忽視小雨的成長。剛上小學(xué)，媽媽就很重視她的英語學(xué)習(xí)。曾小雨在雙語學(xué)校上小學(xué)，英語課比一般學(xué)校要多。媽媽謙虛地說自己聽不懂英語，但會(huì)給孩子買各種英語書和磁帶。家里在任何時(shí)候都放著英語磁帶，不強(qiáng)求孩子聽，但是一直放著，培養(yǎng)孩子的語感。

　　當(dāng)很多孩子的家長看那些肥皂劇，孩子也跟著上癮，連做作業(yè)都寫不安穩(wěn)，心里總想著電視劇的'情節(jié)及后面的劇情時(shí)，小雨的媽媽卻在給孩子放英語磁帶聽，不是逼孩子坐下來安靜地聽，而是不管吃飯、洗涮，還是睡前，都給孩子打開錄音機(jī)，放上英語磁帶。當(dāng)小雨有了一定的詞匯量，媽媽就和她一起看英文頻道的新聞。

　　對于她們來說，學(xué)好英語很簡單，就是得多聽多看多說。簡單，但是要堅(jiān)持。

　　很多學(xué)生不愛學(xué)英語，因?yàn)槲覀冎袊鴮W(xué)生在學(xué)英語的過程中，常常是前一個(gè)步驟還沒學(xué)就學(xué)下一個(gè)步驟，就像沒學(xué)會(huì)爬就先學(xué)跑。比如有好多中學(xué)生沒經(jīng)過學(xué)習(xí)字母、音標(biāo)的過程，以至于到了大學(xué)連字母的讀音都讀不正確，音標(biāo)也認(rèn)不全。許多學(xué)生到了初高中見了有音標(biāo)的單詞自己也不會(huì)讀，只是聽老師怎樣讀，自己就死記住單詞的讀音。

　　學(xué)習(xí)任何一門功課都是循序漸進(jìn)的，可在學(xué)英語時(shí)，我們學(xué)習(xí)的某些步驟被中斷了。因?yàn)檫@些步驟的中斷，學(xué)起來就比較困難，這也就是為什么有許多聰明的孩子數(shù)理化學(xué)得很好，就是對英語不感興趣。

　　無論在哪個(gè)英語學(xué)習(xí)階段，如果字母、音標(biāo)不熟的話，就該回過頭去補(bǔ)上這一課，因?yàn)檫@是最基礎(chǔ)最容易學(xué)習(xí)的，我們不能因?yàn)槿菀拙洼p視這些最簡單最基礎(chǔ)的知識(shí)學(xué)習(xí)，而學(xué)好這些能達(dá)到事半功倍的效果。

　　有的學(xué)生學(xué)的是啞巴英語，只是看，不讀，也不寫，這是事倍功半的方法。請你記住，學(xué)英語，要大聲朗讀。

　　還有的同學(xué)死記單詞，碰到比較長的生詞，一下子就想記住，連續(xù)不停地寫十遍二十遍，越寫越心煩，越懷疑自己的記憶能力，這種學(xué)習(xí)方法在大學(xué)里都存在。碰到比較長的單詞不要死記，寫一兩遍，下一次碰到有個(gè)印象就行，有了印象，再遇到時(shí)就比較容易記住，而且你還可以過一段時(shí)間再復(fù)習(xí)。

　　學(xué)好英語的方法有很多,可歸結(jié)如下:

　　1、定期學(xué)習(xí)。每天學(xué)習(xí)一會(huì)兒比一周集中學(xué)幾個(gè)小時(shí)效果要好。所以請你每天擠出一點(diǎn)時(shí)間讀寫英語。要記住一篇課文，每天讀兩遍，一個(gè)星期就能讀14遍，這樣的記憶效果更佳，可是你把這些工作量集中在一個(gè)時(shí)間段落內(nèi)完成，一上午讀一篇課文14遍，只能讓你產(chǎn)生厭煩情緒，而且記憶效果還不行。

　　２、通過上下文記單詞，別靠死記單詞表。有的同學(xué)一見到課文生詞多就一個(gè)一個(gè)地記憶，并一次把每個(gè)單詞寫上十遍二十遍，還咒罵自己記憶力不行，其實(shí)不如一次記憶很多單詞多重復(fù)幾遍效果更佳。

　　３、不管對課文理解了多少，盡可能多讀。一個(gè)單詞出現(xiàn)在不同課文中三遍，你就能對這個(gè)單詞有深刻的印象，可你讀同一篇課文把這個(gè)單詞讀上十遍也不一定記住。

　　4、學(xué)會(huì)使用一些常用短語。

　　5、使用不同版本的教材。包括閱讀用的、聽力用的和語法用的。變化學(xué)習(xí)所用的教材，看不同的書，會(huì)更有興趣學(xué)。

　　6、盡可能手寫。拼寫通過手指是最容易被記住的，正是移動(dòng)的鋼筆寫字時(shí)的記憶有助于正確拼寫。所以建議你抄寫句子或課文，抄寫也是一種思考方式。

　　7、經(jīng)常拿出以前的課本翻翻看看，這樣省去查詞典的時(shí)間，還給你一種學(xué)好英語很容易的感覺。

I didn’t know how to comfort her at the moment but I did know what the small store meant to her.Mother ran the small store in order for my brother and me to have a better education. As father worked with low salary which could merely afford the whole family‘s life necessities mother had to try hard to earn money for our education. She was frantic to make money before she managed the store herself. She once worked day and night for months on end in a small restaurant.

　　It was a very difficult period of time for her. But she never complained before us. Eventually she had her own business by running the small store. And she really managed it well all the time with great efforts. I never expected that the store would break. This will undoubtedly take everything away from my mother. I couldn‘t help worrying about her. Mother seemed to read the worry on my face. She patted me on my shoulder speaking with a faint smile: "Well it may not be that serious. I‘ll try to make it better whatever. We‘ll be fine my dear boy." I was so moved by mother‘s words.

　　It turned out that mother really rebuilt her business soon and the store ran well. I could imagine how much mother had paid for her small store business. It was really too much for a woman. But she never gave up. She just went ahead with her unusual perseverance.Now both my brother and I are studying at college. Mother works harder to finance our education. She is struggling by all means to keep the store business going. Her unusual perseverance is so inspiring to me that I will never give up halfway in my life.
