　　Weekend in the summer vacation, my father go to work, don't come back in a day and my mother and I was left at home. Mother gave me a difficult task, when a home, do one owner: buy today's food, meat and fish.

　　Took the mother give me fifty dollars, feel shoulder the burden of heavy, I go to the supermarket, a variety of foods in the shelf, like the appearance of delicious.

　　Finished, I went to the check-out, s a calculate, even fifty dollars is not enough, I thought to myself: just bought so little, so expensive, let me understand a truth, don't take charge of don't know your daily necessities.

　　譯文：

　　暑假的周末里，爸爸去上班，一天都不回來，只剩下我和媽媽在家。媽媽交給我一項艱巨的任務——當一回家，做一回主：買今天的菜，有肉還有魚。

　　接過媽媽交給我的五十塊錢，感覺肩上的擔子重了，我走進超市，各種各樣的食物在架子上擺著，仿佛很好吃的樣子。

　　買完，我去結(jié)賬，營業(yè)員一算，連五十元都不夠，我心里想：才買這么少的東西，就這么貴，讓我懂得了一個道理，不當家不知道柴米油鹽貴。

　　通過這次當家買菜，讓我知道了，不能亂花錢，要把精力放在學習上。
